WBSS super-middleweight competition update - Groves vs Eubank Jr set

If Eubank called out Groves, knowing St-George is in this tournament, I hope he at least applied. But because its the Eubanks, chances are this is all BS on their part

 

What about Gilberto Ramirez?

 

My prediction ? Eubank will not participate in the WBSS, he never applied. Only called out Groves to hype his own fight with AA

 

Seems like Bob Arum is doing his thing. Ramirez will be showcased on ESPN, as Top Rank needs their fighters to perform on this new platform. He's poised to lace'em up against Jesse Hart

 

If we get 2 belts in this tournament thats all we can hope for. We just have Groves for now. Lets see if we can get C. Smith/T.Dirrel for the WBC

 

I have assumed he is in the tournament, otherwise why would he say something so bloody cowardly.

If he's in the tournament it's a legitimate challenge.

At this point I don't see why the winner and the loser of Eubank vs Abraham can't be in, both are 10x more deserving than Cox.

Why should they be the only ones to have to fight to get in.

All things considered even if Jr had signed to fight GGG vs Canelo winner id still be pissed he didn't enter WBSS.

 

This is the type of tournament that can turn CEJ into the star he wants to be. Win this tournament and big fights & big money await. Can we find out if he at least applied ? No word from him or his father regarding WBSS. Should have not passed on this opportunity just to fight AA, who's a high risk/ low reward fight at his age.

Man,you have no idea what you are talking about.The super middle weight division is quite poor compared with the outstandingly stacked cruiser weight division.I for one will also watch the super middle weight tournament but the cruiser weight tournament is just a dream come true for every real fight aficionado.
I even think that cruiser weight is probably the best weight division right now-it has never been so stacked with outstanding fighters as it is now.
Russians are europeans???Most of the russians dont consider themselves europeans,and neither do most europeans consider russians europeans.
