Bellew is a dangerous fight for Ward. He is very underrated and I think some people's dislike for Bellew clouds their judgement a little bit. Stevenson did beat Bellew but that was at light heavy where he was boiled down way too much. He was nearly 3 stone heavier in his last fight. Bellew would beat Stevenson at cruiser. That said, I'm a big fan of Ward and i wouldn't back against him even against a polar bear. He'd tie it up and take it down with a low blow.
Refer to post #18. This isn't about GGG/Canelo, it's about the prospect of Ward/Bellew and the significance the fight would have. Ward would be a massive favorite going into a fight with Bellew, regardless of where it takes place - that's a fact. Vegas, fans, fighters and pundits would generally agree that GGG/Canelo is the better and competitive fight. Anyways.... Not really relevant to this thread.

No he won't be. At least not by me. Ward is no rjj he will be slow and heavy footed at hw. He already lacks power bellew will laugh at him when he gets hit. If it was that easy then anyone would do it. Tell ggg to go up to cw and take on someone like bj Flores or glowacki and say that he's not daring to be great. He would be getting praises left and right and rightfully so.

I can't stand bellew but I just don't think ward is going to stroll up to cruiserweight and take the treasure like some people think.
