Loma? Doubtful. I'm guessing Salido will get that call as he's the guy everyone tests their prospects against.

I think Lomachenko vs Marriaga is a good fight, but there are better fighters out there for Lomachenko.

This is a meh fight for me. I had a feeling Siri was going to keep dicking him around and wasting his time. Marriaga is acceptable, but just so. Loma's winter opponent needs to be better.

He should fight tank. He's meant to be a world champ!
More pressure should be put on for this fight. Never heard so much bollocks that a supposed world champ isn't ready.

They could have potentially fought the winner between Corrales and Castellanos

Meh crap fight. Gutted it isn't Salido I heard it was nailed in last I checked.

Crawford has announced his next fight though, now that is one to get excited about.

We can assume that Salido would've gotten clowned in a rematch. But unfortunately we don't know for sure. Its disappointing. I'd like to of seen the rematch happen. Its still a blight on the record of Lomachenko.

We know for sure because Siri knows for sure.

He's been avoiding the rematch like a plague for years despite the money being there. Mentally, he's already defeated, and he knows it. The rematch would be a slaughter. If Siri himself thought he could win again, we'd have seen it.

The only power he has left is being able to dangle the prospect of the rematch in front of Loma and being a thorn in his side. He'll never give Loma the satisfaction of avenging it, which is a punk move when it boils down to it- particularly for a warrior like Siri

Salido said there was no problem with the money, the date was just too early for him, we should probably assume because he wouldn't be able to comfortably make weight. I'm with Salido here, and Loma-Salido non-title at 135 would've been way better than Marriaga.

Can't believe that Salido turned down 720k, I think it's clear now that he is avoiding the rematch for whatever reason. Those excuses of TR lowballing Salido are now gone.

However I am too disappointed at his next opponent. I guess we have such high standards for Loma that anyone who's not a champ is going to be a disappointment.

Vargas, Pedraza, Corrales and Berchelt next please seeing as Davis will 100% not fight Loma.

Siri weighed 133.5 a month ago in a fight that was considered by all parties to be a warmup for Loma. If he can't get to 130 by August, it's because he didn't want to.

Everyone including Lomachenko and his team are disappointed with opponent. However the blame should be placed squarely on the shoulders of time wasting duckers like Salido, Rigo and the disgraceful excuses for champions at 130.
