Bingo. He's already defeated; the fight itself would be a formality, and a useless one at that. The people criticizing Loma for not avenging it now would simply move the goal post to find a new way to knock him.

 

I don't think He could even get 200k for The Floyd undercard if a Fighter like Pedraza being a champion got only 26k for fighting Gervonta doubt Salido could get more than 150k in that fight. Pretty bad decision for s fighter that is one or two fights away for retirement.

Davis won't fight him. Salido won't fight him. But they'll fight each other.

And there are still people who'd find a way to twist that into a knock on Loma somehow. No need to sweat it. They'd knock Loma if the rematch happened or the Tank fight happened anyways for the opponent being too old or green, respectively.

 

This. Salido has all the leverage, since he won. Salido would be a fool to take $750k. 1m is fair, since Loma needs the fight while Salido doesn't.

 

The one who needs to avenge his lost is loma. If salido wants 1M, he wants 1M, period. He doesnt NEED to fight loma, he already did and he won.

It's not like salido cannot find fight, fighting gervonta in mayweather's undercard seems a really good option.

Salido's position -> You want the fight? pay. You think it's not worth it? ok, no problem.

Easy to understand to anyone with half a brain cell.

 

The only problem with that thought process is he accepted the amount offered, if Top Stank is telling it 100%, so I think we have to blame the old work horse in this equation bro.

Well, I dont know exactly what happened, I just was saying that it's salido the one who has the upper hand. The fight, if it's ever made, will be made for the money salido will say. It's a take it or leave it situation. Salido is fine with 750K finally? ok, not bad. He wants 1M? well, he can ask for it if he wants to. That's what I meant, I actually dont know the terms of this negotiation, I'm not very interested in this fight, tbh.
