    I actually agree with that. Never really seen what evidence there is that HWs proportionately hit harder than lighter weights provided the two fighters are naturally around the same size.

    Yeah it's pretty straightforward and obvious. Not only is the punch force proportionate to size, but so is punch resistance.

    This nonsense about HWs hitting harder, in a relative sense, is just another way to try to make excuses for glass jawed fighters like Deontay Wilder.

    i STILL hope yall are right about this. surely stiverne landed SOMETHING that would of rattled him though. i mean i think we all love the Worm wobbling him or whaever...but til i see it happen i believe it. I also belieive The Chin Times, and as of yet mid here in 2017, The Chin Times does not have Donkey in their p4p or even heavyweights glass list. Shall this change, i will tune in for a laugh at some fragile glass.

    I think this is more or less true.... Once you reach a certain weight that is, the really small guys do tend to have much lower KO ratios though... But once you start getting into the 130-140 lb. range this definitely rings true 100%.

    I hope so...... Doesn't seem like he's going to step up before the years end though, unless he decides to cash out after Stiverne it's probably going to be yet another soft touch.

    Zak made a post in 2011 about Wilder stepping up in competition, and 6 years later we are STILL asking the very same questions.

    2017 WILL be the year that Wilder's sandcastle, paper-mache chin gets shattered.

    Maybe not. His management continues to avoid decent competition. Presumably, they are looking to pad his record with as mediocre opponent as they can get away with, so they can build to the big cashout fight with Joshua.
