I was really impressed with Conor Benn, looks vastly improved. Showed good movement, patience and timing in his work. Lot to learn but has big potential.

Definitely his best performance so far, I still think he is too small for Welterweight though.

He has improved a lot since his early fights.

After an unconvincing start to his career, he actually looks like he might achieve something.

I knew he'd improve and I reckon he can be a proper force in the future if he stays dedicated.

People forget that Eubank Jr was pretty much the same, looked very raw early on and a lot of people were doubting him now he's on he cusp of a proper world title. I can see Conor having a similar career.

Well he did fight against someone who was given 24hr notice and still got caught at times. All the fancy movements was making him more tired. Wish him the best but don't seem him going far.

Good opponent at this stage especially at 24 hours notice, his opponent came to win which is unusual at this stages in most 'backed' prospects careers and it was good to see.

Agree regarding weight, as he steps up levels I feel he would be much better at LWW.

Not for me, IMO he still gets hit way, way too easily. Better movement in there tonight but he doesn't have the power to "take one and give one". He needs to work on defence desperately before he meets a big hitter. Bellew at one stage said Benn has "incredible power" - I disagree, looks average to me.

Agree I don't think he has incredible power either, be more noticeable when he goes up levels, think he has decent power for higher levels though and at only 20 will probably gain more power in a few years.

My opinion on him is this; with a style like that I desperately want him to go on to be a brilliant fighter it'd be great to watch. But that style demands you have a certain level of power and he just hasn't got that. He also got hit way way too much.

You mean after badly misjudging him (you're not alone here many others did too), writing him off prematurely etc, you not regret having hastily jumped to the wrong conclusion and are frantically back-pedalling to regain some credibility...:) :)

To be critical, I think he should work behind his jab a bit more because that movement would not be sustainable over a 12 round fight, and go to the body more instead of always headhunting. Credit to him though, he was impressive last night and thought his self discipline in avoiding getting into a slug fest was bang on. I haven't been sold on him but if he carries on improving like that he is going to be a dangerous opponent.

I'm just not seeing it yet, Benn looked decent last night but we have to take in to account the opponent had a single days notice and looked well out of his depth.

Benn has improved in little areas but when he went backwards it didn't look right, he bent forward, crouching, face/chin exposed and left himself with huge blind spots.

Maybe I'm being harsh, he is only 20 years old and learning as he goes, I don't think he punches that hard but he might develop that a little as he grows and gets his "man strength".

Hopefully he goes on to have a great career, I wish him all the best but like I said I'm just not seeing it yet.

How can anyone not be impressed by his performance last night

He was throwing in mad angles, head moment and obscure combinations. Okay he got it wrong a couple of times but at times he's was very good.

I've always said give the lad time he's a baby with no experience with massive pressure. Not many could cope with what he has already .

    Im excited .

Do agree though he will need to create some breathing space and refine his movement over 12 but that will come with experience
