im usually that one that favors the aggressor in the fight, so im aware who usually sees it different in the rbr and why, so the turnaround wasnt lost on me. horn got a few beauties in there amidst all the mauling he was doing, but pac was hitting him clean at a very high percentage.
i got no problem with the result, other than seeing it different, but the majority of the clean scoring was done by pac, and i didnt need teddy to tell me that.

How can any of them not give round 2 to Horn. They carrying on like round 9 deletes any other round Horn won.

Teddy Atlas knows boxing up to a point, he was after all a disciple of Cus D'Amato, he is just a crazy old coot and has some very rigid ideas in his head and isn't open to any external criticism and likes to make up his mind about fights when they're halfway through and can't swallow his pride to admit he was wrong and ends up passionately rationalizing some utterly bonkers positions.

Stephen A. Smith on the other hand is a moron who DKSAB, period.

The coke and meth caught up to Manny. He was looking past Horn and not taking him serious. He was more focused on a Floyd rematch. This is what happens and he won't retire either. He will fight till he's 42 atleast. Those taxes suck.

You don't go by "majority of clean scoring" in a fight...you know that. You score each round in a vacuum based on effective work (not just counting connects, this isn't the amateurs) and tally them up at the end.

    Strawman argument from Smith.

"Pac was only bleeding due to headbutts".

Nobody scored it for Horn because they saw blood, you jackass.

I've definitely got to see and score this again since I scored it along the lines of Atlas and Smith, two guys who I have no respect for. I gave Pac like 8 rounds. What I saw was a past it once great fighter who's power, speed, and stamina were gone fighting a younger, stronger, bigger fighter with better stamina. I just didn't see Horn landing and I saw Pac landing very little but twice as much as Horn. That's what compubox showed. Pac outlanded Horn 2 to 1. That's what I saw. I saw almost no aggression from Pac. I saw a guy waiting to counterpunch all night. I saw Horn outmuscle him in spots, but usually pushing and grabbing him more than actually hitting him. Pac looked bad and Horn did better than expected, but he just didn't really hit Pac as much as Pac hit him.

I definitely need to see this again. Everyone scored this differently than me. Only idiots had it scored my way. I'm guessing that I didn't give Horn credit. But I'm a little stunned that so many people saw Horn winning. I'm going to rewatch this fight and maybe change my opinion.

Quality reasoning. I knww Horn had a solid right (the southpaw killer) and I agree that the kd's he suffered against Funeka and Bailey had mitigating circumstances, Funeka more so because it was indeed due to a headbutt. And, honestly, suffering an equilibrium shot against the KO King isn't a big deal and actually proves your resilience when you come back to win. I still figured that Manny, as the A side, might get the nod in some of the closer rounds and picked him by UD as a result. But I figured Horn would give it a go, make it to the final bell and perform a lot better than most expected.

As for my card, I called it a draw in terms of rounds, and 114-113 Pac because I gave the 9th to him by a 10-8 margin. But, you can get to seven for Horn, I think...and even with a 10-8 round seven is all you need to justify his win.

Props to Bradley for saying it was close and Horn landed a lot and made it rough throughout for Pac.
