Wow. Boxing with a correct decision. That is rare these days.

I had it Horn 115-113, and I hated Pac for not being able to finish a gassed Horn in round 9. I think team Pac underestimated Horn way too much too. They should, of all people, know just how past it Pac was, so they should've prepared for ugly fights like this. Unforgivable.

 

Possibly, but it might just be the age and wear-and-tear on him. Older fighters have to pace themselves more, and Pacquiao looked gassed after that big 9th round and did so little in the 10th and not all that much in the 11th and 12th either.

 

Kudos to Bradley for sticking up for himself against Smith's diarrhea of the mouth here.

Yeah I couldn't believe how he kept creating Sammy Sosa type air conditioning in the 9th. Horn was ready to be KO'd, and wasn't very elusive while he staggered around the ring, yet Pac kept whiffing over and over lol, and seemed to punch himself out.

 

This might be embarassing but:

Pacquiao vs Horn
R1 10-9 Horn Horn somewhat awkward, Manny off not adapted yet, Horn aggressive knocks mouthpiece out.
R2 10-9 Pacquiao Close. Horn being aggressive young and strong. Not a lot landing. Lot of clinching. Pacquiao landed a good left hand so I'll give it to him. Could use more infighting. Pacquiao slightly better at timing this round. Trying to counter punch.
R3 10-9 Pacquiao landing more cripser shots. Horn still trying but being more cautious easing up his pressure.
R4 10-9 Pacquiao figured him out and is outlanding him whenever Horn moves in. Conditioning may play a factor late in the fight, also Horn is noticeably bigger.
R5 10-9 Pacquiao teeing off like he did against Alghieri, throwing less landing more doubling connects.
R6 10-9 Pacquiao Good uppercut and smothering of Pacquiao on the ropes by Horn. Accidental clash of heads and bleeding from Manny down his chest from his scalp. Wow, he's bleeding a lot. Pacquiao lulled into a false sense of security and Horn lands two good quick shots. Mostly Pac playing the matador though.
R7 10-9 Pacquiao Another headbutt, another cut. They are so awkward that this is getting messy. Pacquiao landing way more but his face is a bloody mask. He looks like a gored bull.
R8 10-9 Pacquiao Pacquiao punch pushed Horn down not ruled a knockdown.
R9 10-9 Pacquiao Pacquiao is swinging for the fences smelling blood chasing Horn around the ring. Nice. That eye of Horn's is bleeding and doesn't look good. Love it!
R10 10-9 Pacquiao Pacquiao is tired and taking the round off after expending all that energy. I'm not sure if I should give it to him even though Horn didn't do much either.
R11 10-10 Even More headlocks than punches land.
R12 10-9 Horn Horn outhustling Pac.

 

well ive never done a rd by rd, but ive watched and scored a fight or 2 in my day.

 

Pac has already given them double digit wars, beatdowns, and just general savagery. How much more do they want from the man? They need to let it go.

 

Bradley should stop saying honestly and you know every second word.

 

I disagree regarding the Gonzalez vs Wangek fight. I thought that was a clear robbery.

 

If Teddy, Joe, and especially Stephen Smith think Horn is so ordinary why did this bout have to be a bombs away brawl? Shouldn't the take home be that Pacquiao isn't the same? Why no analysis about where his ability is at and how effective he was? This should be about how Pacquiao didn't meet expectations! And come on, either you think both can compete with Thurman, Crawford, etc, or NEITHER can.

How did you guys manage to have Horn winning? I saw Pacquiao land at least twice as many clean shots.
