Pacquiao is officially shot - Or he had a very bad night.

Shot or not there is nothing we can do on the official results.

Shot maybe.But he was sloppy,slower and misses like can't pull the trigger.Many times he let Horn tee off on him and PAC had no answer.When he did try to fire back he loss his balance and ended up getting head locked or head butted.

Anyway I really dislike Amir Khan but is it now too much of a stretch to think Khan would have beat Pacquaio last night?

There was plenty of talk about Pac/Khan and most people (myself included) had Pacquiao knocking him out but it sounds like Pacquaio has aged terribly.

I think Khan will be all over a Horn fight now, I'll be surprised if he hasn't already been on Twitter calling him out, so he can claim to be the man who beat the man who beat Pacquaio.

 

Maybe Horn isn't as **** as everyone thought he is. Bradley was telling it how it was until after the fight when the rest of the ESPN crew were screaming at him to change how he should think.

 

Pac has been fading for years.... This isn't anything new. No fighter with his style will remain elite into their late 30s. Look at what happened to RJJ. Athletic fighters who rely on fast reflexes, movement and timing always fade quicker.

 

Horn is bad as F. Pac threw ZERO punches. You cant win if you dont throw, that's impossible. The only round pacman threw something horn was about to be knocked the F out in less than 30 seconds from the very moment pac started throwing.

Horn's boxing IQ is negative, as well as his speed and skills. His toughness/chin is average to bad (the very moment pac touches him, he was wobbling around) Has he power? not enought ot knock down pac.

Plus, the referee was annoying as F, I hated the referee. Not saying he was important in the fight, just saying that he was annoying me the whole F fight.

Well deserved victory from Horn. And Pac deserved to lose. As I said you cant win if you do nothing.

According to resume, he's 5-4 in his last 9 fights.

BUT Horn is definitely a good fighter!

 

Your main points are well put. Though Horn smothering Pac to prevent him from getting angles to land is most important. Really unsettled Pac, and Pac fought Horn's fight and couldn't adapt. If you say Manny is slower, doesn't have the snap he used to, and has lost stamina, how can you like him to improve at his age in a rematch? In a rematch Horn will be more confident, and knows what he has to stick to to do well.

 

Remember when Roach said pacquio looked awful sparring. The reality is manny is finished and fighting on his just playing himself.

His now that guy that can be used to put younger fighters over.

 

Pac is done and has been for a while, hell if you want proof then Floyd fought him that says it all.

 

Where are all those people who had Pac on their P4P lists calling him the best welterweight in the sport?
