I have the feeling that Teddy Atlas thinks not 100% clean landing = no score..

It seems he is basing the whole fight on the fact Manny manage to partially block punches, lucky he wasn't scoring I suppose...

Networks here only react like that when someone who wasnt supposed to win costs them money.

Given that ESPN has just now invested big money back into the sport and Pac was still a top draw in it, this result was a disaster for them- more so than Top Rank or Pac himself. They need to paint this as the robbery of the century to try and fool anyone willing to be fooled that Pac is still a viable welterweight.

Most non-boxing fans saying Pac got robbed. Most people on here who are giving round by round scores, are respectable posters or at least long time posters, are explaining with logic and basics, and are not emotional messes scored the fight for Horn, a draw, or 1 point to Pac and don't see any issue with it. Usually where there is smoke there is fire. I don't see it with this one. 114-113 Horn for me.

They put on a real good fight. You can see in my posts as the fight went along I had Pacquiao down 5-2 entering the 8th round but after I scored the 8th and then the 9th round 10-8 to Manny, I had the fight dead even. I assumed by the state of it that Manny would probably close the show out. But Horn undoubtedly won the 10th, Pac evened it out with the 11th, and then Horn relatively clearly won the 12th. He clearly won the 1st and was it the 5th (one of the 5th, 6th, or 7th was quite wide). Those were 4 of the 5 most decisive rounds of the whole fight, for Horn, with the other one being the 9th for Pacquiao. Literally 4 of the 5 most decisive and easy to score rounds were for Horn. I also had Horn in the 2nd, 6th, and 7th and I really didn't think they were razor close or were the type that I wondered to myself if I would be among the minority or any of that sort. Not sure what else to say as far as scoring the match.

I'm legit confused by this huge robbery claim. Funny, though, that the news circuits are pressing the opinion of celebs who have nothing to do with boxing claiming robbery. I'm guessing over the next week as we get opinions from people within the industry that most boxing people will have scored it either for Horn, a draw, or for Pacquiao razor close.

Combination of a very biased ESPN commentary which turned into a few casuals (Kobe Bryant for one) claiming robbery on Twitter means a whole heap of casuals follow. Add a nation who think Manny is a God then throw in some very angry nuthuggers oh and a few bitter Australians (they know who they are) and you get a mob of robbers!!!

    True, good point.

The article on CNN's website stresses robbery from the opening sentence, for God's sake. I'm like... (Jackie Chan confused meme).

Ineffective aggression is best displayed by one of my favorite guys_The little Bulldog..AKA
    EL CHINO- MAIDANA
Sure miss that kid but Horn is a great replacement and more accurate. Just a more polished version of Maidana under Garcia IMO

Haha. Right on, man, but I don't think Horn and Maidana fight similar in any way at all! Cheers though, I think we will all be keeping an eye on this Jeff Horn cat forever now.
