At this rate the SMW tourney is just going to be a B-level tourney, and the cruisers are what's worth watching.

Hopefully we get one more interesting or top 10 SMW to keep Groves company, Smith, Eubank Jr, Benavidez or even Quillin would make things far more interesting.

It has to be Eubank Jr, there are no other blockbuster fighters @168, there are talented fighters but not named fighters.

Get DeGale in there atleast. The division is barren atm.

    1 James DeGale 23-1-1 (14) ENG 1
    2 Badou Jack 21-1-2 (12) SWE 2
    3 Gilberto Ramirez 35-0-0 (24) MEX 3
    4 George Groves 26-3-0 (19) ENG 4
    5 Anthony Dirrell 30-1-1 (24) USA 5
    6 Arthur Abraham 46-5-0 (30) GER 6
    7 Callum Smith 22-0-0 (17) ENG 8
    8 David Benavidez 18-0-0 (17) USA 9
    9 Andre Dirrell 26-2-0 (16) USA 10
    10 Tyron Zeuge 21-0-1 (11) GER --

So that's what 2 top ten fighters in the tourney? Maybe 3 at a push. Winner will be lucky to be a consensus top 5 never mind top 1.

Groves, Braemer, Cox, Skoglund. Not very impressive thus far.

I'd love to see Smith, Ramirez, DeGale and Anthony Dirrell. In there.

Then it's a tourney worth talking about.

DeGale underwent surgery on his injured shoulder a month ago and the expected time of recovery should be long enough to exclude him from a possible envolvement in this tournament.

According to Yildirim's manager, there is a 90% chance that Callum Smith will be in the tournament.

If Callum's in what would be logical would be Anthony Smith too. Add Zeuge and Yildirim, and while still not what it should be it would be better than the direction this was going with the last three announcements.

I do hope you are right. At least we get to see Eubank Jr - Groves that way, that's a good fight.

    My latest prediction is:

    Groves
    Zeuge
    Korobov
    Yildirim
    Braehmer
    Skoglund
    Cox
    Callum Smith

    Reserves:
    Nielsen
    Feigenbutz

That's not a good tournament but still worth watching, as I see it there are two top fighters (Groves and Smith), and three-four solid contender level fighters (Korobov, Zeuge - I don't rate him that highly, and Yildirim, and at a push maybe Skoglund), then two people who shouldn't rreally be there (Braehmer, Cox).

With Braehmer in is Zeuge really that likely?

Skoglund is limited he will lose in the first round I will be surprised if he doesn't.Per instance you can see all his limitations in this fight:

Tyron Zeuge is too bad and too unknown to be in this tournament.
