Wilder's camp heard a rumor that Whyte was actually planning on hitting back during the match. That scared Wilder and his whole camp. The danger of it all.

I thought the respect I have for Wilder couldn't go any lower.

Whyte beats the blue **** out of him for 12 rounds. No lucky punch this time BB.

Not a chance he gets 50/50 now AJ has two straps and Wlad as a scalp. Whether people like it or not Joshua is currently the man in the division unless Fury can clear up his legal issues and get in some sort of shape that's the way it's going to stay.

The Alabama can crusher has pretty much no credibility at this point and so a fixed fee is clearly what he's going to get.

It's actually not that great of a deal, since Wilder will have to give Stiverne at least 1 million in step aside money. If Wilder isn't facing another title holder he should just face his mandatory.

When Wilder does land the Joshua fight i hope Hearn goes all Golden Boy on them and says they dont care about Wilders belt he brings fukk all to the table, Joshua is the A side, all the advantages to Joshua, 3 British judges and the fight is held in Joshuas local leisure centre.

There is no reason for the Whyte fight to not happen, makes so much sense for many reasons, only reason it would seem not a good idea is to Wilder and his team, get beaten by Whyte and the big money fight goes out the window. Although i dont see why it would as im sure Joshua would still like to fight Wilder whether he owns a belt or not.

No chance at all will wilder get 50/50 if he fights AJ.

And so he shouldn't. He has no fanbase, can't sell any tickets.

He'd be lucky to get 35%.

I really don't get it, Whyte was a great stylistic matchup for Wilder with his cement feed and telegraphed punches.

All he would have to do is take the center of the ring and counter Whyte on the way in with his jab and cross, seems like Wilder just refuses to take any risks whatsoever with his matchmaking

Whyte has a decent counter left hook, same punch that Molina almost put Wilder over with and can dig to the body well. He present more problems than Sloverne that's for sure.

I remember when Quillin refused career high payday to face Korobov and dropped his belt.
This is a similar situation, Haymon is keeping Wilder on a leash.

I agree, especially given the way Stiverne looked against Rossy but I still feel Whyte doesn't have the athleticism and pace to really trouble Wilder even if he manages to buzz him.
He is definitely one of the safer options out there for a title defense but it seems like Wilder just refuses to challenge himself

Why is everyone just believing what Dillian Whyte is saying?

He also said he beat Chisora and everyone can see that he didn't.

Yeah and when he loses to aj he can still save face and then fight some more cans and retire with a bull**** 48-1 record and act likes he's one of best heavyweights in history.

If he loses to whyte then people will just all point to the fact that minute he stepped up to decent opposition not even elite like aj that he got found out, funny thing is I think he would beat whyte if they fought, even though I would want whyte to win I see deontay chinning him, but he has regressed so much his last fight against Washington was a shocking performance.

Wilder is a disgrace. Unless the setup is heavily tilted his way (total bum opponent, fight in Wilder's own hometown in the middle of nowhere) then Wilder simply won't get in the ring!

Wilder and the Murican fight fan deserve one another. In fact if not for the mentality of the typical Murican fight van a guy like Wilder could never have been manufactured and rammed down our throats anywhere near to this degree.
