I think Rigo is fine making 126. It's a super fight - one of the TBE super fights.
If I had it my way, Loma would be fighting the best at 126 and 130 and not looking at 135. It's not the same as fighting Crawford. Loma has the frame of a 128lber. He comes in on fight night the same weights as he did at FW.
Loma at 135lbs = Crawford at 154lbs - big point there. So Crawford at 135 is like Rigo fighting Loma at 130 - it's silly but it'll bring the casual fans and the dumb boxing fans to the yard.
Mikey fight must happen, because of the circumstances, he must fight the best at LW, he shouldn't waste his prime age although he's eclipsed his prime weight by 2 weight classes.

Comparing Lomachenko's last five opponents with Rigondeaux's last five opponents will tell you a great deal.

To that end, I really don't think Rigo and his followers are the people to be calling out Loma over the quality of his opposition. :sisi1

Umm ... for the first Piston vs Clay / Ali fight, both were guaranteed $500k, with the winner getting another $500k on top. For Foreman vs Ali, both were guaranteed $4.5m, with the winner receiving a further $500k.

Those are the two prime examples of something which used to happen frequently in boxing. Hardly the "nobody" which you purported. If Rigo was confident of beating Loma without any chicanery, he should've called Arum's bluff and tried to win that extra $500k. Rigondeaux is 36. He probably has another five years left, tops. Pretty much all the fights are out there for him whereby he can be guaranteed $500k+ are at 126 (LSC, Frampton, Mares, GRJ, Quigg -- there's probably only a fight with Jessie Magdeleno that could get him that payday at 122), not for fighting guys like Anusorn Yotjan and Jazza Dickens and Drian Francisco at 122. If Rigo and his people are that confident in his abilities, they need to step it up and move heaven and earth to get at least some of those fights signed, sealed and delivered before it's too late for him.

These guys aren't even Rigo fans, they are Loma haters LOL masquerading as Rigo fans.

I wanted to see this fight at 126lbs but as Gannicus stated, at that time this was not a MILLIONS dollar fight. Maybe it still isn't despite them getting more "popular".

And honestly, for those haters, you really give Rigodeaux a chance to beat Loma at 130lbs? Seriously! I say the fight could have been fair at 124lbs or at least competitive at 126lbs. It's like give Lomanchecko a chance of beating Crawford at 140lbs! No way in hell! Or Crawford a chance at beating Lara at 154lbs!

The idea that Rigo was going to jump into the promotion, help promote the fight, and also only have a 4-6 week camp to ascend 2 weight divisions, and take on possibly the # 1 p4p fighter is absurd. It wouldn't happen for any number of reasons. It's all bs. Never mind the fact that Loma already had the contract with ESPN, who knows what limitations there are to what channel Rigo would have to fight on, and if it were to happen they would need far more time to promote it. All straight bs.

Lets be honest though, Rigondeaux fought Jazza Dickens and Flores, because they are the only ones from 118-126 who wanted the fight. Everybody else said no. A couple of guys have ducked Chenko, but he has no problem getting fights.

I would love to see Rigo and Loma at 126 with a rehydration clause no more than 5 lbs. The Crawford 135 is just a fantasy fight due to him leaving the division Mike got the ability to fight at 135. Bob have a beef with Mickey and Rigo so those fights probably never happens Crawford fighting below 147 always would be a mismatch due to his size the only left fighter is Linares.

Actually, let's be honest yet again. Does anyone believe that since fighting Donaire 4 years ago, that out of all of the guys moving into and out of the top ten in his division and the divisions above and below, he couldn't get a single guy to fight him? That they were all afraid or ducking him? Until Flores? Does anyone actually believe that? If anyone does, then that's another matter entirely.

I would like to see Lomachenko fight Rigo at 130 with neutral judges, referee, boxing commission, so it can't be in Vegas where Roc Nation owns Bob Bennett the liar................Rigo and Roc Nation was planning on cheating, but Lomachenko will not fall for it...................Lomachenko will beat Rigo, but on his terms..........................do not let Roc Nation cheat again....................

I am tired of Frigo he can go **** up a rope for all I care. Watching Loma next month will be great, always enjoy watching what he does and trying to figure out what i am seeing. I do not fully get what he does, i am not an expert like most of you on here.

What I am not looking forward to is that **** faced spastic Atlas who will invariably be spewing a bunch of hyper critical, micro managing B.S. upon Loma. That freak jumped the shark over a decade ago.

Rigos account isn't even him IMO He can't even speak English. The Americanisms & Semantics of it don't fit right for me. It's just a poor trolling marketing PR vice his team use to keep him relevant & u people talking about him. Job done. Fights aren't fought or made on twitter they are made on paper and in the ring. Lomas star is beginning to rise hence 'tie my banner to his carriage'.. It's nothing new! His twitter account calling Loma a ducker doesn't make it true & the fact that such juvenile guff triggers some peoples emotions & has them even trying to support the notion is hilarious. Did they even call Lomas team & offer terms? Not twitter terms! Real terms?
