If GGG beats Canelo, should be fight Jermall Charlo?

No ,Charlo has done nothing to earn a shot, no money in it for GGG either. Let Charlo handle Lemiuex first. I'd pay to see that

 

Charlo has not earned the fight yet- the fact he is mando after one fight is kind of bad. Against a fringe contender no less.
GGG I think Beats him easy anyway.
I would rather see GGG against billy joe, Andy Lee or Jacobs all too long time middles.

 

Charlo fans don't want Charlo going anywhere near GGG until GGG is using a walker. "In a few years," they all say. "Let Charlo have 4 or 5 fights at MW first."

But they also say, "GGG has no skills and no resume. He only fights bums. No one is ducking him......."

 

I feel if Golovkin beats Canelo the 1st option is Canelo again. If that is not an option, I think that at his age he has earned the right to fight the biggest money fight available AFTER Canelo...which unfortunately is Chris Eubank Jr in Wembley. After beating his face in he has made his money and its time to give Daniel Jacobs the rematch he deserves. For a 36 year old guy by that time whose in the clean boxing program, that would probably be the end at that point, win or lose.

 

Yeah, whoever wins between Golovkin and Alvarez, I can see a fight competitive enough that they will have a rematch first. Maybe Golovkin will then retire after that, win or lose.

 

Hahahaha. This is complete and utter nonsense. Im not even a Charlo "fan" really. But if you believe that you are a grade A moron. Charlo and his people would jump at the chance. If anything its Golovkin that would be hesitant. Which is why I bet he chases something else. A money fight instead of facing a low reward/high risk guy like Charlo.

And people that dont like GGG dont run around here saying he has no skills. You really like to make things up dont you? Im very critical of Golovkin and even I know he has skills. Never questioned that. If someone has denied he has skills I bet its in retaliation for others bashing skilled fighters they like. No one denies Golovkin has skills in a serious manner. There are other things that leave more to be desired though.

After Canelo, assuming he wins there are some good young fighters coming through for Golovkin.

Ya. Retire at the top. With one decent win against a good middleweight. And a win against a guy that has fought most of his career at WW/Jr MW. What a legend!

He can retire. Thats up to him. But he wont be on top of anything. Hes not getting any ATG status. He would still be behind Hopkins as an ATG fighter.

If he stays. And Charlo looks good? Thats a good fight. Or he should give Jacobs a rematch.

He can totally retire though. Just dont expect him to be some sort of ATG legend for beating Canelo and Jacobs.

 

He'd be 38/0, seems he did a hell of a lot more than simply beating jacobs and canelo.. You know he's been whooping every opponent since 2006, right

 

You're bang on, imo he's a top ATG middleweight, his run at 160 has been on par with the level of competition Hopkins had when he ruled.

Imo he's not on par with your Monzon and Hagler but he's just below.
