So your excuse for Wilder fighting five cans during that time is that Povetkin failed a test? I can understand one or two...but he CHOSE to fight sub-standard low quality opposition for 2 years.

AJ is tied up contractually and all of a sudden Wilder starts calling him out, very convenient. Why didn't he seek to fight the best available during his FIVE voluntaries?

@BlizzyBlizz Could you do me a litte favor, rein in the clickbaitish thread titles a little, at the very least include the last name of the boxer your thread is about in the thread title.

How did Brazeale get the Joshua fight?

So if he won two belts, why not go after Wilder's? You are truly just a sorry poster and a dick rider of your favorite fighter. You UnleashedFury, and a couple of others are worse than Pac's fanatics. You better seek treatment for the Floyd Mayweather Syndrome. You're getting worse and worse by the day.

    Your symptoms are:

Repetitive sayings in boxing posts daily
    Scared of your own shadow
    Questioning fighters financial matters
    Questioning a fighters fanbase-except Brazeales
Shivering when you hear Wilder's name

Listen, this is going to be easy to understand.

AJ is tied up with Wlad and then Pulev. The fight with Wilder can happen in the middle of 2018 providing Wilder actually wants it like you say.

In the meantime, how about Wilder bucks the trend of fighting absolutely horrible competition and fights a couple of meaningful guys?

I know you don't think Whyte is good enough, but he's a tough competitor and is enough of a name in the UK that would give Wilder a record payday plus more recognition for the eventual Joshua fight. It sets up the storyline very nicely.

I don't think anything I've said above is unreasonable or unfair.

Bumontay Wilder is a joke and despite being a pro for almost 10 years has a worse resume than a guy with 19 fights. Why don't you tell me why Wilder went after Molina, Arreola, Duhapaus, Washington, and Spzilka? Why did Wilder have to fight those guys. Clearly there were better options available. Why is Bumontay so protected and coddled? Tell me.

Three of those were short-notice because of Povetkin asking for more time or for failing drug tests.

He fought WBC-ranked contenders. Champs have to fight guys ranked by the organizations that recognize them. Are you new to boxing?

    Bermain Stiverne was top 10.

    Malik Scott was top 10.

Artur Szpilka was 6 or 7 in the WBC rankings.

Duhaupas was top 15 when Wilder fought him and moved UP into the top 10 after a couple of nice wins AFTER Wilder fought him. He was top 10 in ability, but because he's from France and didn't have any promotional push no one credited it until after his profile was raised after the Wilder fight.

In fact, Molina, Duhaupas and Scott are all ranked in the top 15 by Boxrec currently, all higher than Whyte.

OK, I've asked this time and again and people like you run like cockroaches when the lights come on rather than answer:

    1) Which rankings do you go by? How do you decide who is in the top 10?

    2) Give us YOUR top 10 meeting this criteria: Not a current champion, hasn't failed a drug test making them ineligible to be ranked, has fought within the last 12 months.

VERY simple. I'm saying right now you cannot do it.

The same guys that you talk about outside of Wlad don't have Wilder's name on their resume or they don't have names on their resumes and that includes Joshua...who only has Wlad. Who does Ortiz have on his resume and Parker, and Browne and Hughie you dumb ****? Just stfu and let us grown folk talk.

Go over to ESPN or Ring and look at their rankings which are much more reliable than some random abc org who ranks fighters by how much money they get in under the table bribes. You still haven't answered why Wilder had to fight those specific handpicked opponents rather than more credible options. What tied Wilder to having to face them?

Bumontay has a worse resume than every other title holder. He has had 5 chances to prove me wrong and has been too scared to do it. 41 year old Wlad who was inactive for 18 months is better than anyone Wilder has fought.
