It is clear that Horn was allowed to cheat, headbutting, holding, wrestling, elbows you name it and Pac still beat the crap out of him......................Pac clearly won the fight, no doubt about it, anyone knows that. Pac landed 2 - 1 against Horn. Horn is not a good fighter............
Private message me if you want to really showcase your bad ass skillz. otherwise, stay off my nuts. how many times gotta tell you, You dont barked up the wrong honey comb. TOOT TOOT. You are gonna get stung. in the bung...
More notable fouls from jeff: round 1: 13 secs before the bell- jeff pushes pac's head down for a long duration, then proceeds to punch him with the right before pac had a chance to recover- note the wtf look on pac's face. round 2: 2:07 jeff presses on pac's neck badly with his forearm. round 3: 0:49 real bad push down by jeff round 4: 2:23 jeff holding down pac's head while punching the back of it, 2:19 jeff blatantly tripping pac, 1:07 jeff holding pac's nec with right and then punching his head with left. then pushing with his forearm on pac's head. round 5: 1:40 pushing badly down on pac's neck with left forearm/elbow haven't been through all the rounds yet pac's outlanding jeff in all of them (yes even round 1 - but barely on that) jeff is just physically imposing himself on pac, and in a bad way.. I didn't count the number of headlocks and attempted headlocks, punching in cinch (pac did a few of those too though) or punching on the break, some other elbows, etc.
so headbutting, excessive rabbit punching (i.e. hooking/punching to the back of the head), excessively headlocking to the point of near chocking them, judo style blatant tripping ever, holding the neck and punching the head, forearm to the throat, elbow to back of the neck, etc etc.. ARE ALL ALLOWED cos they are "roughhouse" tactics, and we must ignore the boxing rulebook that say they're not allowed? smh
No but every fighter should be prepared to counter it. You guys complain way too much, I know it's not allowed, get over it. I didn't like some of the stuff Horn did either but it's technically not cheating, more like frowned upon.
Horn cheated and fouled the entire fight. The ref let it all go. Despite that, it was a very clear victory for Manny. I had it 118 to 110. Many looked slower, and older. I think part of that was the insane amount of fouls, hitting on breaks, endless headlocks, punching while locking Manny's head, excessive bleeding from butts, maybe even the heat, part of it was just the fact he is 38 and can't train the same as a Senator from when he was a congressman. We can't expect one honest word from Horn. He is another jerk with the "good guy" persona like Andre Ward, yet at the same time a vicious nasty fouling cheater. But if the ref is going to let you do it....I guess you have to do it. Its money in the bank. More fights. Big fights. You can't really blame Horn. Horn would get destroyed by Spence, Thurman, Porter, Garcia, Khan, Brook, Lamont Peterson, Lucas Matthyse, Andre Berto, Jessie Vargas and also Floyd Mayweather anywhere but in Australia and many of them within Australia with the same ref, because he would not be able to headlock these guys the way he did with Manny, who is so much smaller. Without a ref that allows him to foul, he is a goner vs any of them, and Manny too.
no fighter should have to go through it. that made the fouling from both ward and kovalev look tame.. never seen a boxer punch down full force towards the back of an opponent's head while holding him down before (or for a long while) and whats worse is that somehow horn's allowed fouling is seen as "effective aggression" by others.
LOL... Horn won fair and square. Rough? - Yes. Boxing is a rough sport. The decision was UNANIMOUS for Horn. UNANIMOUS. No doubt at all.
It's not seen as effective aggression, it's his other work that was effective aggression lol. I think that's why he won, Pac was constantly backing up and getting pushed around so looked very uncomfortable. Don't get me wrong, I thought Pac won, but could completely understand horn getting the decision. Bad fouling is Salido vs Loma, Golota vs Bowe. I think most fouls are instinctual, not premeditated. I've trained in kick boxing and other sports, or a street fight, or anything that puts you in a dire situation full of adrenaline and sometimes you do illegal stuff unintentionally. I've broken rules in football unintentionally. It just happens.
