    Good they had the sense to deny Cunningham. What sane person would want to see him try and thumb his opponent in the eye all fight long?

    "At the beginning there were a lot of skeptics on whether it could be pulled off but to have a division, the cruiserweights, which always delivers exciting fights and to have all four world champions, basically to have out of the top ten list we have eight of them. And then two of the four are on the reserves so it's an unbelievable line-up and as Al Bernstein (of Showtime) tweeted out: it's the strongest line-up in the history of boxing tournaments. I agree with him," said Schaefer, proudly.

    "So yes, there is interest and it's just a matter of finalizing everything."

    WBA heavyweight heavyweight champion Denis Lebedev (29-2, 22 KOs) says he still has the chance to play in the World Boxing Super Series, where he will also take part. Krzysztof Włodarczyk (53-3-1, 37 KO).

    So far the organizers have confirmed the start of six of the eight competitors. Among the candidates to fill the remaining seats are Krzysztof Głowacki (27-1, 17 KO) and Lebedev. Recently, the Russian promoter has argued recently that the 37-year-old has other plans, but the interested man says he has not yet responded to the deal that his manager Wadim Korniov has received.

    - I have not said yet "no". Theoretically I can perform in these competitions. However, I would like the champion to get a little bit more than a challenger, and that's the reason they are going to be equal, "said Lebedev, who will face Yakaterynburg on Sunday against Mark Flanagan (22-4, 15 KOs).

    He added that he wants to know more details about the tournament, such as exact start dates and earnings.
