its not hard to understand...the real danger for Mayweather is to get KO. Mayweather is getting any decision in his backyard the MGM, no matter how the fight plays out. A complete domination against Mayweather would probably get him a draw.

Ring age and chronological age are two different things in boxing and there are so many factors underpinning the reasons why Pac was semi-shot and Floyd was past prime but numerous levels above being semi-shot. Furthermore, this has a massive influence on the fighter Pac in particular becomes. He ceased to be THE Pacquiao.
The person who uses this line of argument are usually lacking in understanding of boxing (casuals, casuals who think they're superfans for knowing who Rigo is etc.)

Pac never had one punch knock out power at Welterweight. Pacquiaos best chance to KO Mayweather would be with a series of combinations. This requires speed and stamina, the first things to go when a boxer gets old.

Like it or hate it, it does have negative implications. It shows the realm of what is considered 'intense competition' for a Pacquiao so far past his peak - a phase in Pac's career that Floyd beat him in.
KTFO6 didn't even eliminate Pac's prime, it eliminated any remnants of what makes Pac, Pac. We were left with this weird caricature. Add years upon years and by the time it's 2015, we the fans were robbed.

 

I think with Mannys style and weight its a testament to how atg he was that we are still or were confused at 38 what he had left... Hes that good he can compete on memory the last 5 yrs.
