Pac would've been to pure a fighter for May to tame pre 2010/11...Imo that's why the fight wasnt made. Pretty much like ggg v canelo. Somebody somewhere found their balls to fight after seeing something that gave them hope !

Well, funnily enough, Pac's power wasn't the same from 2011. He went from being a Golovkin-tier puncher to getting a knockdown in a fight if lucky so your point works against you.
Pac was showing signs and degrees of slippage beyond Floyd's level and that is something even a dumb casual were able to spot let alone Floyd.

No fighter can predict how they will age in the sport, fighters often get old over night, to say floyd waited for them both to get old is ridiculous, how did Floyd know HE wasn't going to get old over night? BOTH of them were past their prime and i agree the fight should have happened earlier but people need to stop acting like there was not a bunch of other politics that held this fight up, The main one being BOB ARUM.

This is something that people will argue over and debate for ever more, and people will never be happy or 100% know the truth. The only thing that we can be 100% certain on is that when they did fight floyd beat him and that's what the history book will state for ever more.

    Time to move on.

Again, yes..both were past their primes, but you're not getting away with simplifying it like this so as to portray they were both on equal terms lol. Don't make casual, sweeping judgements.
Pac was echelons below Mayweather in terms of condition. Everything that we perceived Pac would threaten Floyd with had diminished - it was a one horse race even from post-PacMosley, as far as I'm concerned and cemented after KTFO6.
Floyd takes care of his body well and the waiting game was a very reasonable risk worth taking - the sentiment at the time and as any sane person looks back on it is - Pac is going to be far more affected the longer it takes to make the fight. This is YET besides the point as it doesn't erase the FACT that Floyd was in much better condition than Pacquiao in 2015.

To make it worse, it's just a known principle in boxing that if someone gets headshot KO'd badly (let alone arguably the biggest KO I've ever seen in KTFO6 by Marquez), they don't return the same fighter. This was sadly the case for Pac.

Politics did hold up the fight - but that's not what we're debating.

FMJ was more effective as an older fighter than Pac as he adapted his style, where'as Pac's style didn't change that much; his output just dropped.

But we're missing the main point here. Horn just schooled Mayweather's best win. Horn>>>Floyd

mayweather ruins fighters in an odd way. people work so hard to get to a place where they can get a shot at mayweather

THEY ARRIVE, ITS MAKE OR BREAK THEY TRAIN THEIR ASSES OFF, they have nothing to lose, they are primed they are ready and the fight gets underway

WOOPS 2 rounds in and your all out of ideas with floyd just picking you apart more and more as the fight progresses. you take your loss you go home and you think "sooooo now what... i just made a record high payday and i think iv hit the peak of what i can achieve in this sport".

so they stop trying as hard as they used to when they wanted that shot at mayweather and their heart just leaves boxing and training... or they just retire rich and ride off into the sunset (maidana)

how many fighters has may ruined? he ****ing does it to everyone

    1. no one argues manny was in his peak just like no one argues floyd was at his best.

    2. ignoring arums blatent roadblocks when both fighters where at their prime is just silly

    3. ignoring mannys trainer freddie (who has a pretty good track record of keeping it real) saying the fight not eventuating was because of them is also silly

"manny cant fight floyd because to share a ring with a women beater would harm his political ambitions in his home country" ... COME ON!

and who was floyd fighting? while manny was beating timbo twice (once unofficially), rios and algieri may was fighting guerrero ? canelo and maidana twice?

tim bradley is mannys best win of the 3 and is a better win then maidana or guerrero but not canelo (especially considering the fashion floyd destroyed him)

floyd had a really tough fight against maidana aswell so yes no one would deny that mannys style ages worse over floyds you cant deny these guys were looking in similiar "prime"

lets not forget of course you all constantly bitched about "draining" of floyds best win of the three in canelo trying to diminish the win. yet i dont see any floyd fans trying to diminish pacs best win of the 3 in bradley (we just kind of did not want it or need it as we all knew he won the first fight unofficially)

Marques KTFO6'd a younger many, Floyd schooled Marques, Floyd beat many and left the ring without a scratch, Horn "The Hornet" looked like he had been stung by a bunch of hornets.

we can do this silly tit for tat all day, People just need to come to terms with the fact many couldn't beat floyd just like the other 48 times people tried.

Horn's best win = Floyd's best win. Horn did it with less experience though so therefore has a better win.
Doesn't take a genius to see that Horn's resume now trumps Floyd's
