    I agree, Jacobs would be a serious contender - he would be 2nd favourite of the fighters in so far and to be honest I'd pick him against Groves as well.

    Why is the price (except the money) a trophy? It looks like they're about to play a football tournament.
    Boxing surely doesn't need an other belt, but couldn't it had been a plate or a medal?

    It also looks impossible to lift with gloves on.

    To be fair, it is a pretty badass trophy. I think they made the right call with it.

    Olympic champs get medals, pro champs get belts, so a trophy for this tournament makes sense as a way to distinguish itself.

    Jacobs is a very good fighter and could have a shot at winning it all but id be surprised if his chin stood up 3x in a row against big strong punchers, GGG only landed jabs and when he landed something heavy he hurt Jacobs quite badly. Most of GGGs jabs were partially blocked too, he barely landed any clean shots.

    I guess you don't live in NZ KiwiMan? Judging by your posting times? Unless you have small kids?

    This is why I'm surprised he hasn't' signed up, this is a great opportunity for anyone at 160/168.
    Hell even Braehmer and Skoglund came down from 175 :risas3:
