Well I don't buy into the small Canelo propaganda. He's not really smaller than Golovkin, he's just much much better at cutting weight which is party due to his youth but largely his genes.

That said I agree this isn't a battle for p4p supremacy. Starting to fade before we saw him properly tested Golovkin isn't the number one fighter in the sport IMO. He failed to get the necessary fights to get that kind of accolade when he had the chance a few years back.

Well I agree with ya. But than you cant really ever consider Cotto a real Middleweight then too right? I mean hes really just a Welterweight that couldnt cut weight anymore. So this is the guy Golovkin was hoping to fight? And I mean, Cotto whooped a MW that Golovkin beat only a few years ago. So that should give you an indicator of how weak MW is/was.

In comparison I dont happen to think that Ward is much bigger than Golovkin either.

In order for GGG to surpass Ward on the P4P list, he'd have to not only beat up Canelo, but also get some titles at 168.

A win over the smaller Canelo puts him at no 2

There is no irrefutable logic one way or the other. Depending how Golovkin vs Canelo goes down, people will evaluate their opinion and adjust accordingly. I personally would rate Golovkin over Ward...Now.

I impart my wisdom to whoever will listen. I can say for certain based on their point system, Golovkin will take #1 on boxrec's list. Canelo is currently their #1.

Cotto was never a real middleweight IMHO. He was as you say a blown up welter who lucked out against a shot, injured Sergio and weight drained faded after not being that great to start with opposition.

I actually think Andre is considerably bigger than Golovkin frame wise but that doesn't make a huge difference to me as GGG beats up cruaierweights for fun right? Right?

Well thats what weve heard about Golovkin and the cruisers LOL. I personally dont even think framewise there is much difference between GGG/Ward. Its just an excuse his fans use and run with to allow him to duck that fight.

I just dont understand why its ok for Golovkin to fight Brook and Canelo. And to have wanted to fight Cotto. But when you mention Ward its "not fair Ward is so much bigger". Meanwhile Cotto was a 5-7 Welterweight.

 

As an aside of anything you're getting into with Lance both Dino and Blizzy clearly have mental issues. I don't think anyone in their right mind can look at the utterly bizarre **** they come out with and think they're anything other than total whackjobs.
