I think a Ward fight is fair at 168 but that you would see a noticeable size difference come fight night.

I thought the Brook fight was BS and said as much. Canelo is fine though as he's a massive weight cutter rather than smaller man. As for Cotto, well he managed to get the lineal title. If t weren't for that nobody would have wanted to see Golovkin beat him up.

Ive read plenty of dinos posts. He seems like sensible guy and fairly sharp. We shall agree to disagree. Blizz is fine too. But sometimes I have seen him pushed into saying some stuff he probably doesnt really mean or want to say. But when certain guys say ridiculous things about fighters hes a fan of he is probably going to fire back with some ridiculous comments about other guys.

Really? I genuinely think both need help and that's not even meant as a diss. I think they both have real problems.

I will say I think Golovkin did the right think with Cotto. Cotto didnt belong in the ring with Golovkin and I would have written Golovkin off if he had taken that fight. But then he went and basically took that fight later in the UK.

I dont agree with their system but its their system, and its constitent. You may find them a joke but they are one high profile list that would have him at #1 for certain. So it would be factually correct to say Golovkin could reach #1 on a major list.

Im not a lunatic and I do rate him higher right now. Ward was inactive for years and in my eyes lost to Kovalev in their first bout and was not convincing in a rematch where both men looked unimpressive. Meanwhile I was impressed with both Golov and Jacobs in their last outing.

Eh. I dunno. I dont see them as having any real issues. Like I said sometimes people say ridiculous stuff and it breed a response that is equally ridiculous to the person who made the intial comment. I dunno. Both seem fine to me.

LOL. Ward was "inactive for years". Im in tears. Crying in laughter. As if his inactivity has any bearing on now. So if he was fighting Kell Brook, Dom Wade and Daniel Geale during the 1.5 years he was off you would think more highly of him? LOL

It was a horrible cash grab but hardly unprecedented and came at a time when it looked like Canelo was looking unlikely to ever step up and give him that payday.

**** fight though. As ridiculous as the Canelo Khan farce.

At that point what had Golovkin done to earn a payday with a WW/JR MW? Cotto came at a time before Canelo had his hands on the belt. I mean were talking how many years ago now did Cotto have that belt? What was Canelos claim to fame at that point? Being whitewashed at WW by Floyd?

You cant refute but you are dying to, so you came up with an LOL to fake undemonstrated superiority because you always feel there is audience, schlockmaster.

Dino is a ridiculous comment personified IMO. The stuff he comes out with is so far removed from reality so often that I can't see how you can't see it.

His opinions on AJ, Wlad and Wilder are totally mental.

Blizzy - well he just goes off the wall and has an insane level of bias. He's Ike the opposite end of the spectrum to Todd and those guys in crazily supporting guys he has something in common with.

He'd pretty much bullied a whole division scaring off the guys we wanted to see him prove himself or fail against.

He has been ducked - that shouldn't be up for debate - what we should be talking about is whether or not those guys who avoided him were right to buy into the hype?

I honestly dont read much on the heavyweight battles so I cant say Ive seen Dino in action in those type of threads. I usually try to stay out of them. Im not sure why either.

I can see what you are saying about Blizz. But I think its guys like Todd and those types that make Blizz like that. I think if you get Blizz out of that element hes a smart boxing guy who would probably be very reasonable. I personally think its guys like Todd and those types that egg on guys like Blizz. And to me the Todds are the ones who are the real problem.

Who has ducked Golovkin though really? Who did/do we want to see Golovkin in with that he hasnt fought if we exclude Canelo and Cotto?

You said that he was considering Cotto cause he couldnt lure Canelo. Im saying why would he have been trying to lure Canelo at that point anyway? Canelo didnt have a belt and was still operating at WW/Jr MW size at that point. Canelo was whitewashed by Floyd who is a WW. Why would Golovkin chase him then and even now to a certain extent. One would argue being pasted by Floyd would suggest Canelo doesnt belong near Golovkin anyway. Obviously we know he wants the money that comes along with Canelo now. But why wouldnt he rematch Jacobs or fight Ward if hes such a feared monster?
