Mayweather/McGregor Fight Discussion

Nice to know that I will always have a few replies from my not-so-secret admirer, PIRA.

 

I doubt McGregor would beat a journeyman boxer in the boxing ring, let alone Floyd.

How would McGregor do against a good amateur boxer?

 

May weather gonna have two judges, the ref, and NAsc in his pocket. But it would be great to see mayweather kod with a kick just to see how people who dismissed blatant fouls in the last two fights react. Will they dismiss a kick or choke like they do low blows? Same ****. All illegal in boxing

 

At the end of the day this is it, the man made hundred millions and still looks great at his age

I've said on this forum many times as a fan he left us wanting more and could've had the great legacy and all that...if he'd been a killer maybe he could've been top 10 ATG....

The last 12 guys had bigger names and yet they were older or younger or weaker in weight. He knew how to manipulate it. I just wish he would retire and let boxing go back to excitement.

 

Well, he didn't look too hot in sparring against world 30th ranked Chris van Heerden.

Less power, less speed, more arm fatigue over what is already more rounds than he is used to.

 

I read somewhere there are clauses in the contract that forbid any non-boxing strikes. I imagine Connor has a lot to lose should he do something that stupid. Connor values money as much as Mayweather does.

 

Mayweather had the luxury of promoting the fight at free will because he has a lot of time on his hands
and Mcgreggor will just be walk in the park.

 

Nothing to discuss, this is not a fight, it's an exhibition, Conor will have to wear 24 ounce gloves, be blind folded, face bought off judges, referee and boxing commission, this is a true disgrace, anyone who buys this fight, well...........I have a bridge I will sell them...............

 

I've not come across a single mayweather fan who thinks Connor has a chance, Floyd isn't trying to fool his fans, They all know its an exhibition. Why are you people acting like everybody thinks this is going to be a competitive fight and everybody is being fooled, NOBODY THINKS THIS, other than the deluded McGreggor fans. 99% of floyds fans buying the PPV know they are watching an exhibition and are happy to pay to watch it.

 

I once heard this guy at work claiming that he would gladly undergo getting brain damaged by police brutality in the way that Rodney King was in order to collect millions of dollars via a lawsuit.
