the WBSS has delivered at cruiserweight, with all the relavant champs and contenders taking part.
but at super middle........what a joke!! first of, what is Jaime cox doing in this tournament? he has no credentials. where are degale, Ramirez, the dirrell Brothers, jesse hart or david benavidez?? instead they give us a 40 year old jurgen brahmer, a guy called erik skoglund, a middleweight called rob brant (again a fighter with virtually no credentials). groves and yildirim are good entries, but nothing to go crazy over.

so all in all, nothing super about the WBSS super middle. just lots of unknown eurobums.

Eurobum is far too harsh. Plenty of good British clashes with Groves, Smith and Eubank Jr, and the winner will have the best resume in the division.

    degale - injured,
Ramirez - Arum has different ideas,
    the dirrell Brothers - cowards,
jesse hart - Arum, has different ideas
david benavidez - promoter has different ideas

Can't blame the WBSS for this, apart from them choosing the wrong division.

I have to agree to be honest. Brant and Cox? Ridiculous. Not having DeGale or Ramirez? Ouch.

But another honest opinion of mine is that we should just shut up and say, "Thank you," for the cruiser series lineup, which is better than my wildest expectations. It would have been nice if Glowacki had made it, but I'm still thrilled about it.

"good british clashes" is not an adequat Level for a series that Claims to be made up exclusively of the world elite with a 50 Million cash prize.

    are you working for Sauerland??

Ramirez- Sauerland viewed him as too dangerous

dirrell Brothers- Sauerland is too scared of them

jesse hart- Sauerland doesnt want him beating up his "Champions"

david bendavidez- oh come on, way tooooooo dangerous for his fighters

so in the end you have a tournament with jamie cox and erik skoglund..........and that is supposed to be "super" and world class. simply NOT the case.

It's the best that can be made out of an absolutely dire division. I would've loved it if WBSS went for a different division entirely. Eubank is joining but I'll never forgive him for ducking Golovkin, however much I like both the Eubank's. Besides, he's not even that good. Groves is one of the biggest names there and he's mediocre to me.

JAMIE COX?! WTF. Way to blow the reputation of this tourney lol.

Juggy Geales won't enter cos he wants to keep his teeth safe from Eubanks.

Sauerland only has one fighter in it, with the very slim possibility of it being 2. if the Sauerlands were worried about danger men beating their fighters why send Abraham to England to fight Eubank???

nope. you are wrong. Sauerland (who is basically the promotional face for the wbss) has more than one fighter in it.
and he sends Abraham over to fight eubank because Abraham is almost 40 and washed up, therefore he is not willing to invest any Money to have eubank fight him in Germany.

sorry forgot braehmer. and surely he's in the same boat so why would they be so scared of him being beaten then if that was the case?

I know for certain that Ramirez got an invitation, as did both Dirrells, and Benavidez.

It's not the WBSS' fault that they declined.

That's true. But there's a long way between euro-bum and an elite tournament. This is neither.
