Perez is more deserving than Huck. Huck just lost and looks washed up.

Do you think Gasiev can win the whole thing?

Yes, I have him equal 2nd favourite with Briedis. But assuming Usyk is top seed, he'll probably have to beat Wlod (easy), Briedis (50/50), and Usyk in the final (about 25% chance perhaps?).

This competition will show how much Bashir really helped Usyk. In the first fight without Bashir, he looked bad but I have to see more to tell.

Gasiev doesn't throw many punches and that will be his downfall in this competition.

I think Gassiev might be one of the easier fights for Usyk. He was struggling to cut the ring off on Lebedev who's not nearly as fast as Usyk, doesn't move nearly as good and barely uses quick footwork to create angles on mid-range. And Someone already mentioned his questionable workrate, Usyk has much higher punch output than Lebedev.

But of Course, Gassiev will have a chance against anyone with that power.

When has the favorite ever won such a tournament?

I favor Usyk. as do most. But there is just so much talent.
And all of them can punch!

Depending on the draw maybe, if someone does him a huge favor by eliminating Usyk. :sisi1 Otherwise no.

I'm just gladdened (and fairly amused) to see him getting love. I already knew him before he fought Isiah Thomas, but I remember that night a lot of people on here deduced- from 9 minutes of action, mind you- "oh, this guy is average "...pssh.
