If Wilder is demanding Hearn pay him 7 mil to fight Whyte he isnt going to take 7 mil to fight Joshua surely.
Why not let the fight build? this fight is a missed opportunity in terms of money and recognition for both fighters if it happens next. Let them get their mandos out the way, AJ fights Klitschko again and Wilder can fight Whyte or someone else credible instead of a Washington and the fight will be bigger.

 

Kiltschko shouldn't be entitled to any rematch. He hasn't won a fight since 2015. If he wants a shot he should go beat some contenders and become a mandatory challenger.

You just said forget Pulev and Stiverne etc and get Joshua to fight him. That would suggest now, not after the fight has been built further.
I have no issue with Wilder building the fight his way if he actually does it, but so far his way seems to be fighting terrible opposition and imo that only serves to damage the potential of this unification.

So Joshuas fights are mapped out, Klitschko and Pulev. Get them out the way and then he can be free to fight Wilder, provided he wins both Joshua will be 21 fights deep and defeated Klitschko twice (aged i know, still impressive and a huge name) and got his mando out the way.

Wilder has his own mando, we agree nobody is interested in Stiverne coming again but it is what it is and thats that. Who would you want him to fight next to build the AJ fight while AJ fights his mando? I think Whyte would be great because the money for Wilder is great, good exposure and seems like a perfect opportunity for Wilder to show the UK he is a serious fighter. Say he goes in there and does a demolition job on Whyte, tears him apart and stops him in 3-4 rounds etc. How much more impressive will that look compared with AJ vs Whyte (Despite AJ's inexperience). I think its a great fight for Wilder.

However he isnt taking it, so who do you think he should fight to build the Joshua fight better than dismantling Whyte? Its a serious question, not trying to get under your skin, im not slagging him off or you. Its a genuine question, i think Whytes a great option, and its a win-win for Hearn obviously, but for Wilder i think he should have bitten his hand-off.
