David Lemeiux has a punchers chance against anyone. He has that kind of power. But he isn't KO what he can't hit.

Cotto would be the most skilled fighter he would have faced, by far.

No way Lemieux walks down Cotto who has one of the best jabs in the game. Cotto would be T-ing off on Lemieux's chin.

The ONLY advantage Lemieux has over Cotto is "size", that is nothing when you account for :

    Speed
    Defense
    Offensive arsenal
    World level Experience

Also, Cotto hasn't shown us he has deteriorated considerably. Sure he is no spring chicken, but in his last fights he has performed very well.

Prime Cotto got walked down by caveman Margarito. Cotto's jab doesn't have the pop Golovkins does to back him off.

    Margarito > Lemieux

    That's not even debatable

WTF has Lemieux done? If anything Lemieux is the cave man. Margarito was much more skilled.

I swear some of you guys need to watch more 'baxing" before commentating.

Those two fought in different divisions. And when Margarito moved to 154, he looked mediocre to average at best. You think he'd beat a strong MW in lemieux?

To say Margarito was much more skilled is just you being a little, pissy, fanboy. Just like when you got pissy and claimed Liam Smith would have been 3G's toughest opponent to date. You have a tendency to say stupid things just to defend your guy Isal.

Margarito can be better than Lemieux all he wants. At the end of the day Cotto is fighting at 160 and at 36 years pf age against Lemieux.

Maragrito is more skilled and accomplished than David Lemieux. Do I really have to break it down for you? FFS

At the end of the day, 36 year old Cotto is leagues better than 31 Rubio who KTFO Lemieux.

Cotto also beat the dog **** out of big ass Daniel Geale, and ****ed up Sergio Martinez.

David Lemieux as much as I like him can't even hold Cotto's jockstrap. He only has a puncher's chance.

And if the fight happens I'm sure the vast difference between the two will show.

Go ahead and break down the skill level between the two. Explain how Margarito is so much more skilled then the 'caveman' Lemieux.

    Gladly!

Lets define David Lemieux first: A limited fighter who comes at you in straight lines, occasionally flicking the jab depending if his opponent is using one or not, who starts throwing hooks once he feels he is in range, who's best win is UD against Hassan NDam NJikam in a fight for the "VACANT" IBF MW title which he lost in the very next fight, and is now back to fighting 10 rders.

He is a one dimensional slugger with power in both hands who lacks all the basic fundamentals of boxing.

    Notable Accomplishments:

Winning the vacant IBF MW title.
    1 time world champion ^
    0 successful defenses
    0 world champions beat

    Notable wins:

    Hassan NDam NJikam

    Notable Skills or gifts:

    Power on both hands
Throws a lot of power punches

Antonio Margarito is a fighter who used insane pressure to wear his opponents down, who threw punches from various angles, who had great body attack, had very effective uppercuts, could fight his way in from the outside, and was a tremendous infighter despite his lanky stature. Gifted with a granite chin, and stamina.

    Notable accomplishments:

Held the WBO, IBF, and WBA titles.
3 time world champion in a deep division
    10 successful world title fights
    Beat 6 world champions

    Notable wins:

    Miguel Cotto
    Sergio Maravilla Martinez
    Kermit Cintron
    Andrew Lewis
    Frankie Randall
    David Kamau
    Antonio Diaz

    Notable skills or gifts:

Ability to use his reach and punch from the outside
Ability to punch from different angles, effective against fighters who like to move
Variety of punches, from excellent uppercuts,
    to a tremendous body attack
    Excellent hook to the liver
    Very good combination puncher
    Insane Stamina
    Granite Chin
Ability to throw close to 1000 punches per fight

    No comparison!

What a bunch of garbage! You've basically said nothing about their skill levels (which is what I was asking about) other then kissing Margarito's *ss as expected. You sounds like a f*ckin casual.
