Yeah, compared to those guys and even Chavez who didn't engage the chance Canelo knocks out Golovkin is much greater. But though he's not going to publicly announce it he's simply the boxer in this matchup. He'll have to try to evade Golovkin to the side and counter. If he deviates from that moving and countering game plan he gets mowed down and punished. I'm predicting because he doesn't have Brook or Jacobs' footspeed he's not going to be able to do it. And even if you like Canelo more than I do you have to acknowledge that GGG's chin won't be easy to crack.

These guys have nothing on Canelo. He fights everyone, he is always in tip top shape, he has a better resume at 26 than GGG at 34, most boxers are picking Canelo to win, and he isn't afraid of moving up or down to seek challenged unlike other fighters.

FFS, GGG would not fight Canelo unless he got a Mega Payday. GGG REQUIRED 15 million dollars + PPV upside to set foot in the ring with Canelo. That says something about GGGs confidence imo.

So what? can he punch or not? did canelo take his punches or not?

It's the same conversation every day, I must be the F bill murray.

-> canelo never fough a puncher
    <- man, he fought kirkland
-> kirkland has a weak chin

So what? did you ask for an ATG chin or for a puncher? kirkland can punch, period.

I don't think having footspeed is the ONLY way to beat Golovkin. I think Canelo's superior speed coupled with his excellent defense will present Golovkin with a lot of trouble.

The sad part is that we keep trying to debate with these children and expect a knowledgeable adults response. I guess though, anything to kill time while at work.

The fact that this fight got made and you still allude to Canelo ducking speaks volumes about you and your ilk.

Keep in mind that the fight would have been made official sooner but it was GGG and his people who were holding out for more money that were to blame for that.

I'm not sure what you mean with that?

Kirkland have some power but not a big puncher, his pressure is his strength.

He was humble when he lost to Mayweather. I see nothing unusual in his behavior.
