Three recent fights where body punching has totally destroyed the opponent: Brook-Spence, Ward-Kovalev and Taylor-Davies. That was a masterclass from Taylor.

Davies can come again. I thought he actually showed a lot of heart and grit right up until the very end.

He might have well turned away due to pain, sometimes getting punched on the orbital bone can have the same debilitating effects as an eye poke.

 

As a fan of Ohara Davies I have to say I was disappointed, especially after he quit. He fought a stupid fight swinging wildly against a fighter like Taylor who has speed and is a good counter puncher. Fair play to Taylor, he's a top prospect and moves onto bigger things.

 

I thought brook didn't shown any real visible effects from body shots until late. Davis and kovalov were feeling them instantly.
