    Ramirez didn't join because Arum

Benavidez has replaced Smith to fight for the WBC belt vs Dirrell

No idea about Zeuge, probably just didn't fancy it

Can see DeGale fighting a soft touch in the meantime while the tournie goes on and then going on to challenge the winner of this tournament. That would be a huge fight if it's one of the Brits.

Can see Eubank Jn pulling out when faced with the prospect of fighting someone who could actually beat him i.e. Groves or Smith.

Yup, surprised Eubank is even in it in the first place given that a lot of things won't be on his terms.

Lol good point actually, you know this could actually be disastrous. Because English would insist on ITV PPV with Barry McGuigan commentating and would refuse to do Sky or something similar.

Yildrim is no joke, he's much better than the odds suggest. Eubank could be leaving in the first round, in fact I doubt he takes this fight at all assuming he gets through Abraham.

I think he will pull out.

It'll be a 'to good to refuse' offer down at middleweight that will see him pull out. That's where he should be. His fight against Abraham's is at SM but lets be honest, they're both natural middleweights.

Who is picking for Abraham or have they just assumed he will lose against Eubank Jr? Senior seems to be representing both.

Whole 'gala' ceremony had a very European song contest feel to it.

The WBC not to miss a trick have chucked a 'diamond' belt into each weight category.

So that means the winner of this tournament will get an immediate shot at the WBC champion (Benavidez vs Dirrell) should they wish.

Interesting, kind of leaves DeGale and Ramirez even more in the lurch though. Hmmm.

As I understand it the Diamond is a commemorative belt to mark a big occasion. Mayweather got one for the Pacquiao fight. Not to be confused with the 'Emeritus' belt that Tony Bellew holds which entitles him to an immediate shot at the WBC champion should he return to Cruiser.

Good to see Dubois picking up the WBC 'Youth' Heavyweight version despite fighting an ineligible (29 year old) cruiser weight.

I'm starting to wonder if this is going to be Abraham's last fight. I'm looking forward to the fight and I'll not lie I'd love it if he hurt Eubank a few times, but that peak a boo high guard is an invite for a fighter who enjoys sitting in the pocket and letting off flurries of eye catching shots and uppercuts.
