Josh Taylor vs. Ohara Davies 12 Rounds @ Light Welterweight

 

Round 1

Davies comes out very aggressive swinging wildly, Taylor moving to his right parrying rolling with or slipping most of Davies shots, Taylor lands the far more accurate shots with hooks to the gut and a sneaky jab under the arms and to the face of Ohara, Davies nose bloodied already, Davies landed very little in that round.

Round 2

Davies flicking out his jab Taylor still moving away and to the right, Davies lands a right, and a right hook, Taylor blocking Ohara's weak jab with his glove, Ohara swinging wildly and lunging in, hard left hook t the body from Taylor, hook over the guard from Taylor and another, Josh jabbing to the body Davies swinging wildly looks like he's more active, but landing little clean, Taylor rips him with a hook to the body.

Round 3

Ohara is swinging with his right, its being blocked repeatedly and counter by left hooks from Taylor, Ohara loading up, all his shots being caught o the gloves, left uppercut from Taylor, lunging left hook from Taylor and headlock, two lefts from Davies, uppercut partially blocked from Davies, Ohara swinging like a madman Taylor blocking ducking and slipping everything and countering with hard hooks up top and t the body, Taylor lands a series of left hooks and uppercuts, Ohara seems troubled by a hook to the gut, he's along the ropes, Taylor ripping him to the body, Ohara trying to fire back but nothing lands, Ohara is staggered by a jab, he takes a knee, the bell rings.

Round 4

Davies trying to get his jab on track, Taylor putting his hands behind his back and showboating, Josh is light on his feet dancing around and jabbing, hard left hook stuns Davies, Davies swinging in huge rights, Josh blocking or catching most of them, Josh counter brilliantly, Josh landing hard straight lefts right hooks and jabs, huge wild uppercuts, Ohara looks like a novice, savage right hook combo one to the body followed by one up top.

Round 5

Davies lands glancing straight right, Taylor landing flashy beautiful quick left hooks to the body, Taylor stays on the ropes, lets Davies tee off, he lands nothing clean, he spins out and dances away, Ohara a little more accurate, definitely more volume, Taylor still catching and countering with his left hooks as Davies is throwing bombs but landing little, huge right hook staggers Davies, his legs stiff another hue hook from Taylor, Josh jabbing and digging lefts to the body.

Round 6

Taylor dancing lightly on his feet jabbing, Davies lunging in and missing, Davies lands right hook, hooks to the body from Taylor, Ohara swinging for Taylor's head and landing little, Taylor's nose bleeding, Davies lands to the body, Josh using great head movement slipping most of Davies wild shots, Josh puts his head down and and barrels through Davies ripping him to the body and head of Davies, Davies landing a few of his own hooks.

Round 7

Davies pressing forward and taunting Taylor, Foster told him to shut the **** up, Taylor far more cautious, picking his shots better, landing his sneaky left hook, upjabs and uppercuts, Davies still coming forward, Davies trying to shoeshine with body shots, missed everyone of them, Davies looks like he's pushing his punches, combo to the body of Davies, Davies steps into a huge counter right hook, goes down on his ass, he makes it back up, Taylor walks in rams a hard straight left on the button, Davies turns away and quits, Foster waves it off.

Taylor wins by TKO.
