    Ramírez of a year ago would probably still get shellacked by this version of Lebedev (just a bad style for him) but that's just down to Lebedev having Ramírez's # and being a terrible style for him. Ramírez would probably kayo Flanagan, today.

    A fight between Lebedev and Kovalev would be pretty interesting, Kovalev mentioned that he wants to move up to cruiserweight.

    Underrated fighter who had a somewhat unlucky career... I think without the rest of the division ducking him he'd have been unified champion for a good while. Huck, YPH, Cunningham(game but not what he once was) Wlod had nothing for him, the only guy who might have been able to beat him was Drozd(and even more criminally underrated fighter) A real shame that only us hardcores give that division the time of day, it's been the most underrated division in boxing for a long time.... Maybe the WSOB will finally give it the attention it's long deserved.

    After this, I don't think I'm going to miss Lebedev in the Cruiser tourney.
    Glad he got his 30th victory, and I saw they FINALLY overturned the Jones loss.

    This gets overlooked but Lebedev had a four year stretch of inactivity/retirement before coming back jumping up to CW. He just could not get fights and had to work as an electrician to earn a living.
