    Odds for the QFs:

Groves 1/4, Cox 4/1 (good value on Groves)
Smith 1/25, Skoglund 25/2 (no value here at all)
Eubank Jr 1/5, Yildirim 10/3 (I'd be tempted to take Yildirim)
Abraham 7/4, Yildirim 4/9 (would take Abraham at these odds, since if he gets past Eubank Jr he must have something left)
Braehmer 4/9, Brant 7/4 (if I had to bet I'd take Brant here)

you would need to lay out big on Groves to get any sort of return.

Brant looks like the pick of the round and I would take Abraham against Yildrim if Eubank Jr pulls out.

So how are they drawn for semi finals or is it a lottery?

I noted those two (Abraham vs Yildirim and Brant vs Braehmer) as good picks too. But Groves vs Cox is good too, it's a very safe bet. Most betting markets have better odds on the favourite btw, there was a study by a maths professor proving this. I think Groves is one of those.

Groves must be loving the fact that he got to choose Jamie cox, is cox better than Murray nope, is he better than smith when groves beat him nope, that's not even to mention degale so he's had such harder domestic fights that he's won yet he gets this as his first defence and as first fight in a tournament that will make him very rich.

I too think if there's an upset it will be in Braehmer-Brant.

It was all from Cox and Hearn, never saw Jr entertain the idea, people would have hit the roof if he fought Cox!

Look at how much stick he gets fighting Abraham!

I have to come clean now, I have actually always enjoyed the fact that this nut job got a spot.

Fun fact: Cox has had 7 out of 13 of his tko/ko's in the 1st round, only 1 stoppage past the 5th round

It was so hilarious how Groves flatly said he took Cox because he's the easiest. He's not supposed to have said it, but he's absolutely right that it's the good strategic move to get the easiest win first. He'll be fresh for Eubank, who if he makes it to the semi would have to get through two hard fights in three months, against Abraham and Yildirim.

At this point I'm thinking is Brant beating Braehmer much of an upset?

I do consider Braehmer to be a slight favourite, and I will be picking him to win but Braehmer has too many question marks like age and the weight cut. Braehmer is barely a favourite IMO, almost classify it as 50/50.

I don't rate Brant much at all, but the question marks over Braehmer don't fill me with any confidence picking him.

Yildirim should be considered a huge chance of beating either Jr or Abraham, Yildirim is a tank and has a big size advantage over both and stylistically is a threat to both. I can't actually see Abe beating him because he's almost just a bigger fresher version of Abe. Jr likes to go toe to toe too much and Yildirim might just be too strong for Jr and overwhelm him.

I actually don't think he is a good match up for Jr stylistically because he will take away too many of Jrs strengths, but if the Eubanks think so I will agree because they know much better than me.

I actually think Yildirim is a harder fight for Jr than Groves.

Still have to get past Abe 1st though, 1 step at a time. Abe I feel might be an easier fight in many ways because he is too inactive and that should allow Jr to do his thing, Jr can take a punch so I can't see him 1 punching him.

I find it funny how a lot of people here were claiming Jr was too delusional for trying to do is own thing and he needed Matchroom/Boxnation to make a name for himself.

Looks like Jr is well on his way, if he cleans up in this tournament he will be a superstar!!!

Wouldn't be surprised if he was on more coin then anyone just to enter the tournament as well, purses have not been made public and I doubt they will.

I'd be bloody surprised for example to hear that Brant/Cox were on the same coin as Groves/Eubank Jr
