Crikey it was a bloody robbery. Horn is a thief just like the jolly swagman in Waltzing Matilda.

I scored it 115-113 Horn live and it's on record on IB's thread and I felt at the time that the correct boxer won.
But after watching it again, I can't go beyond 116-112 Pacquiao.

Let's be honest here people, Horn was doing nothing.
Diving in head first, getting countered once or twice, and then head locking or tying up your opponent is NOT ring generalship.
Pac was landing cleanly on Horn and I think like everyone else in this board, we were all mesmerized that the nobody from down under was actually putting up a better fight than what we expected of him, THAT WE MISSED THOSE PUNCHES AND FOCUSED WAY TOO MUCH ON HORN HUSTLING PAC and let ourselves believe that THAT was ring generalship.

    Honestly people.
Pac-May is over and Pac already got his ass beat, rightfully by May.
    Stop hating on the legend.

    I had Horn winning rounds 1, 7, 10, and 12.
Pac wins 8 rounds to 4. I score a round on number of scoring punches landed.
Any one scoring that fight for Horn is deluded.

I have Pac winning 9 rounds to 3, the best you could give Horn is 3 or 4 rounds by wrestling................On-line poll has Pac winning easily.......................

Well i go by these rules on scoring

    https://www.lawinsport.com/articles...ow-professional-boxing-s-scoring-system-works

and call foul according to these rules
    http://boxrec.com/media/index.php/Rules_of_Boxing
have horn winning 4 rounds at most on my first thorough lookthrough of the fight..
    round 9 should be a 10-8
horn's aggression may impress those who don't know much about boxing, but closely looking at it you see he's not hitting well, or not being effective..
pac landing a lot of good shots. even ones that people didn't think effective did have an effect
e.g. 1:17 into round 1 pac landed a fast right jab on horn which looked like it just grazed horn, but caused horn to drop his mouth guard

    https://ibb.co/kN9onv

few times horn held pac on ropes while pushing or htting pac, and fair number of times holding pac's head with his own and hitting pac at the same, while the ref watching not doing anything.
far too much wrestling/grappling and headlocking which the ref allowed to continue on and on.

jeff punching pac straight in face while holding, ref looking on
    https://ibb.co/kTog7v

ref should have thug life sunglasses
    https://ibb.co/gRDnfF

jeff punching pac (right uppercut) while holding his head down with his own
    https://ibb.co/d0Weua

counted 10+ fouls from jeff in round1 alone

It really emphasises how much influence the commentary team has. Casuals are clueless and need help to codify what they're watching.

I think this is the reality, people just thought horn did well because horn bullied pac on the get go.. they didn't see that horn's punches weren't hitting as much as they should, and that pac was hitting him a lot with good punches... also they probably didn't know that horn was fouling pac a lot because the damn ref was letting horn off a lot of times.

Teddy atlas, while a bit over the top, was more right than wrong.

yes like how mayweather smothers his opponents with hundreds of punches in bunches and always forces his opponent back with his imposing forward movement.

    um.. no..

and clearly judges didn't see that jeff's aggression wasnt that effective, or just forgot to go by the rulebooks.
the ref being overly lenient on the fouling didn't help either.

    Clear Pacquiao win.

A lot of people don't seem to understand what they are watching.

Many also don't understand how boxing corruption works.

Also Horn committed more than enough fouls to warrant several point deductions and probably a DQ.
