How hard does GGG really hit???

I agree a pity paty puncher he is...what a weakling ! only tko,d 24 out of his last 25 fights.

 

You'd have to get hit by Gennady to know that for sure. I sure wouldn't advise you to try that though

Golovkin is a hard thudding puncher. He doesn't really have the speed or snap to surprise opponents to get a KO like Lemieux KO Stephens, but he is gifted with power.

 

Not sure if I remember right, but I might have sparred GGG back in 2007. I am way bigger, but remember that these punches were sick (if it was him, can't be 100% sure with thousands of sparring sessions I had). I think I gotta go through some old pictures again to be sure.

 

I think you did spar him. I was there for that one. I saw you knee buckle a little but you denied it.

Bumlovkin isn't a true one punch KO guy like Hearns or Julian Jackson. Wilder is the *much* better puncher in a P4P sense. He's sent guys out of the ring on a stretcher...

 

He's a bit like the George Foreman of the MW division, at first you don't think his power is all that but when you study him more and listen to the testament of opponents and sparring partners you soon realise the man has sickening power.

That is because they have different styles, Einstein. Golovkin usually doesn't commit to his punches as much as the fighters you mentioned.

 

Foreman is considered by some as the hardest punching HW in the history of the division.

I can name quite a few guys who punch harder than Bumlovkin @ 160.

The comparison to Foreman is unwarranted @ best...
