Horn wins WBO rescoring of Pacquiao fight

Interesting development that I didnt expect. If anything this adds to the controversy.

The collective media and fan outrage over the initial decision wont be appeased by this. The decision to review in the first placel is a vague admittance of a wrong.

This more or less is the WBO saying, "we hear ya, but we tough luck."

For all those cheerleading this....why? It wont change the opinion of those who saw Pac winning, nor does it validate yours.

 

Help from the ref who was just waiting for reason to stop it lol,Manny has that 1 good round he dominated but very debateable if close to the KO and the fact Horn came back so well showed he wasn't nothing but stung from Manny throwing his best shots. This sport I love as much as you or anybody has always had an issue with bad scoring but to try to use such a close fight as robbery does not help the cause to improve and make the judges have to justify and explain decisions so we can get rid of the incompetent and bias ones. You clearly are the deluded 1 even most of the people who did score the fight can at least admit was a close fight, you can call me a noob,question my knowledge or whatever the **** you want but I guarantee I have watched as many amateur fights and professional fights as you if not more but who cares in such a subjective sport as this your entitled to your opinion even if it is totally bias.

 

Anyone who had an issue with the original score and called for this re-scoring/investigation should just shut the fuuk up now.
Anyone who didn't give a crap is off the hook.

 

The Phillippine Government doesnt post here. Fans are still free to debate the fight.

 

So what are we debating now??? Not the result because that seems pretty definitive now, 8 judges 6 for Horn 1 for Manny??

The collective media and fan outrage in America you mean? the rest of the world saw it as the close fight it was,You seem to like to make a lot of assumptions about the decision of officials and why they reviewed it despite being precedents by the WBO in the past for reviewing a decision. I don't know why they just don't review all the officials decisions especially in World title fights and make the judges and ref explain and be more accountable so we can weed out all the incompetent officials.

 

So why don't we debate the sun is blue or the world is flat? Just as pointless and we have definitive proof otherwise..

It didn't stop them releasing the second lot of scoring from Pacquiao-Bradley I though did it? And as we know the second lot of judges disagreed with the first lot.

In Horn-Pacquiao the first lot of judges AND the second lot of judges had it for Horn.

Horn by a margin of 6-1-1 and that is the end of it.

 

Fine but don't ask for something and then continue to whine when the results come out.
