And who's agreeing with you ? Does it matter ? Notice you're calling Reinhardt a "Tyson hater" now too. Anyone who doesn't rate Tyson as high as you do is labelled a "hater" sooner or later, especially if they actually give you the time of day and explain themselves.
He's like one of those annoying tree-hugging liberals that scream "racist" when they haven't got the brains to think of a reply when put on the spot.......
What you always fail to understand (or you simply ignore) is that very few of the great heavyweight champions didn't have periods of cutting corners in the gym, turning up less-than-well-prepared, overweight, lacking focus and having crazy out-of-the-ring activities and problems around their primes. They all had these issues, Marciano perhaps being the main exception (although some say he was out of shape for Cockell). THE VERY BEST OF THEM still managed to see off the challenges of inspired B-level challengers like Douglas, even if it wasn't easy. At worst they might have needed a favourable close decision or a late KO to get themselves out of dodge. Tyson simply got battered for 9 of the 10 rounds and KTFO against a standard contender, he had a few seconds of success, that's all - which is okay but it tends to put him in a category than isn't an elite ATG heavyweight.
Not really. It's the absurd statements, you know, "Tyson's opposition was weak" and "Tyson's too fragile mentally" that lets me determine if you're a hater or not. You on the other hand go to every Tyson thread and pick apart anything with Tyson's name on it. Cut the bullshat.
I've never failed to understand shat. WHo the fukk are you tell me what I know and don't know? Save the novel for someone who wants to read your spins and twists.
Tyson gets upset by Douglas so that makes him no longer ELITE? You know he never got a chance at the rematch? How many other ELITE fighters got upset against B level contenders? I'm sure history is filled with such cases, but you because it happened to Tyson it deletes his accomplishments in your eyes? And you're not a hater? Silly old man. It's a testament to Tyson's greatness that after the all night beatdown against Douglas that he almost became the poster boy for one punch come from behind knockouts. One bad defeat does not tend to put someone in a category of less than elite if that fighter went on after that defeat to accomplish a bit more.
VERY common knowledge that Tysons flaw was between his ears. It's the type flaw a fighter always has. Young or old.
Who are you talking to? If you're replying to my posts...hit the reply button. And here you thought Tyson was the one with flaws between his ears?
What did he do then? Regain the title against someone he'd already beat and then get the stuffing knocked out of him by an old, war torn pumped up CW that had ticker problems.
