    Boxing should be you get one warning for rabbit punch, and the next one you disqualified. Cut and dry.

    This story really saddens my heart. Not just regarding the three criminals in that ring that night, who allowed this tragedy to happen, but to see such a promising bright young man who had the world at his feet, lose everything so suddenly.

    I feel the parents should have taken the more difficult heart wrenching decision and decided to remove him from the life support, as it would be better to remember him in his prime, happy young and spirited rather than keep him around as a shell who has no quality of life

    I agree, it's hard to word but if I were to ever become a vegetable I'd want them to pull the plug.

    The Ref and Doctor should be banned point blank. I know hindsight is 20/20 but that fight should have been stopped numerous times way too many Rabbit punches to the back of Colon's head.

    I remember Sephiroth early on when i first joined this forum we had
    a healthy debate and at the end i said it would be good if we were
    both on the same side one day. Well glad you took up my offer as
    this was a boxing travesty and officiaton of the worse type with
    tragic long life consequences's.

    This is ****ed up. I am also mad that whoever saw me in this thread before reported me for comments made against those 3 people in the ring. Does Joe Cooper, Williams, and the doctor at ringside browse this forum? Not sure why anyone would rush to their aid like that...

    Anyways, feel so sorry for Prichard Colon's family, the guy seemed like he was on the road to being a top fighter and a fighter that would develop a following. I thought the guy seemed decent all around and I honestly thought around this time I'd be seeing him in bigger fights. Really a shame what happened to him, and I hope the people who caused it are held accountable. Fouls in boxing need to be taken more seriously, we've seen matches that have had too many headlocks, low blows, rabbit punches and clinches in the past few years. All of these tactics are ILLEGAL. Why do the ref's give any tolerance towards it?

    Rabbit punches should have almost 0 tolerance
