Floyd absolutely destroyed McGregor with that trash talk my god. I mean it was playground stuff, childlike but this is combat sports and to the opponent they actually take that crap seriously. For what is being called an "event", there was a lot more swearing than I expected and it wasn't very well organised at all. I'm losing faith in McGregor because today it all seemed like Mayweather has got everything his way; turning off his mic, that stupid cheque. Mayweather did kind of look old though so maybe thats something....

 

Floyd cut a very good promo.

 

Mayweather will win him in the press conference.

 

PBF destroyed his ass in that press conference.

 

That was so bad. No one won that. It looked like WWE.

 

Floyd started off shaky but ended up destroying Conor verbally.

 

I think Mayweather had the edge in this first press conference ONLY BECAUSE:
1. Conor didn't know this would be the format
2. Mayweather came with a prepared speech.
3. Mayweather went second.
Conor wanted to be able to have responses for him in a crossfire approach.
We have no idea what was said during their faceoff together. Mayweather looked more rattled then.

 

Mayweather had Conors mic turned off cos he knew he'd lose the back n forth trash talk . Lame.

 

Unbelievable how Conor is being given a chance. This will be the equivalent of Toney vs Couture.
