I think you're more on the gullible side weirdly enough for thinking boxing is only about the best fighting the best.
Boxing has always had exhibition fights, ATG's have also fought bums with a couple of fights i.e Roberto Duran.
This isn't a fight that'd put Mayweather back into the P4P rankings, nor will it be a fight for a title/a fight that interrupts boxing.
Just sit back and be entertained. You don't have to even buy the damn fight.

I admit, I really never followed Floyd's career, he's just not that popular here in Europe but damn, this was just disappointing. From both, but I liked McGregor more today (which doesn't mean I support him). I just expected more, I didn't know Floyd is that uncharismatic. I only remember him from the Ortiz staredown which was epic.

Miss boxers like these, who said what they thought, who gave up million dollar paydays because they stood up for something they believed in.

Floyd & Conor are probably having skype calls to each other every night to plan what they are going to do for this WWE match.

 

McGregor is 5'9. Mayweather was wearing trainers that boost your height significantly (probably at least 0.5 inches more than shoes). Conor was wearing shoes.
McGregor looked 1.5 inches taller than Floyd in the shoes, therefore 2 inches taller overall.

Mayweather is therefore, 5'7.

 

Conor was clearly rattled, resorting to offering Floyd out to fight on stage(not that he meant it)

He got upstaged.

People are complaining about Conor's mic being cut off, yet what kind of come backs would he had that would have been worth hearing?

Floyd has the superior record, Conor has tapped out and lost 3 times in his career. Has basically begged Floyd for this fight. Not to mention he has used Mayweathers name to build his reputation.

In short Mayweather has far more ammo to use against Mcregor when it comes to trading insults.

 

Mayweather is 5'8. Do you think Mcregor wasn't wearing any shoes that boosted his height?
