MMA records and Boxing records are very different in nature. There are far too many variables to be a General of in MMA, thus increasing the likelihood of losses. Moreover, Floyd in reality lost to Castillo, drew with Maidana and most importantly has 8 losses in his boxing career in the amateurs which matter.

Floyd pushed hard to make this fight happen and he wants to stay relevant. Without Conor, he has no one else.

No I don't, because Mayweather is short and clearly not 5'8 not just from this press conference but from others. Mayweather was wearing that style of trainers.

I'm not a fan of Floyd by any stretch but he done well to hold his own considering he is 40 years old. Lets see how much charasma you have when you reach that age. No doubt you'll be resigned to the couch like a blithering slob, with a beer belly(if you haven't already got one today).

This is Floyd trash talking in his prime

This should hopefully shake Conor up a bit to start thinking wittier like he did with Jose Aldo because Conor in his last few fights has been basing his humour heavily around his income. He is dwarfed by Mayweather in this regard, he can only say he is the bigger draw NOW.

Mayweather's prime trash talking was when he was PBF, not vs Guerrero.

Didnt Muhammed Ali have an exhibition match against a Japanese pro wrestler? Well this is its equivalent. The WWF also had its own boxing exhibition tournament called "The Brawl for All." Correct me if I'm wrong.

I am very much into sports, vegan, study about bioenergetics right now in my free time. With 40, I will be in same shape as now, if not even better. Age ain't nothing but a number. Hopkins could trash talk with 51. What Floyd showed today was very poor and senile. I think the older he gets, the more he turns into a Mayweather as his father and Roger. Jeff on the other hand is still the same he always was, charismatic and funny. You just don't see any traits of Jeff in Floyd.

No, that has nothing to do with being gullible. I know boxing is not all about fighting the best, it's about money, money that GULLIBLE fans pay. When did I say this was an important fight as far as his legacy or something. I'm just saying I'm surprised by how many people out there talk about Conor having a chance.

If they didn't know this garbage would sell, they wouldn't do it. Willingly putting money in scam artists hands is bad. Even here some fools here will make these pricks rich. Sad.

A lot of fight fans don't seem to be grasping the absolutely shocking gulf in ability here, I'm amazed some people think McGregor has even a punchers chance. McGregor gets schooled and KO'd by the likes of Berto and Guerrero, let alone Mayweather.

Conner has a chance of knocking Mayweather out. I am just keeping it real. Mayweather's punch resistance may have slipped and the right shot, rather it's lucky or not will do it's job.

There's level's to this **** and floyd is the master at this.

Floyd is tiny, but when its time for action the man has no fear, People can say he might have cherry picked fighters at the right time etc, but the fact remains when it's time to perform under the lights on on the big stage he ALWAYS rises to the occasion.

He was not intimidated by Connor at all, even up close face to face, he was not afraid to talk **** and push Connors patience to the limit, lets do it now right here, do you want me to whoop him right?. Mayweather's ability to keep his composure and upstage people is where his genius lies. Hes always a few steps ahead, in and out of the ring

I'm certainly not paying for it, although it's just a fantastic spectacle. Your responses are as if it has implications on legacy or if it's interfering with boxing rankings or something. It's not. It's simply just a Harlem Globetrotters-esque fun circus act. You're complaining for no reason. Only casual Irish fans and casuals period are saying Conor has a notable chance, let them get entertained with these kind of thoughts, it just adds to the fun of it all.

There is truth though to the idea that Mayweather can possibly be shot to pieces, and Conor could offer a very unorthodox awkwardness to set up one big shot, just one, that could at least feel like something landed on Mayweather. It's very highly improbable but who cares, this event is the pinnacle of all sport.
