Mayweather/McGregor Fight Discussion

You think so? This fight isn't interesting to me. I watched the press conference to get a idea as to how the casuals feel about this, and while it may attract the mass casuals, millenials, and MMA fans, I'm certain most boxing fans know the outcome of this fight.

I've never seen Berto-Mayweather, but I'm sure that fight is more competitive than what this will be.

Floyd is smart enough not to do that. Floyd can be a lot of things, but he is not dumb. He has his personae, but every move is calculated, he's not going to insult a complete nation when he wants them to pay him. He will make them hate him, but not by disrespecting them. He wants their money, and they will gladly give it to him.

 

Mayweather is going to be paying a prostitute to offer him a shoulder to cry himself to sleep on after this verbal assault by Conor.

 

UFC fans are gimps.

 

I find it hilarious that they're beating us to death repeatedly with how packed the press conferences have been (and then they pan the camera and there's empty seats and the only person you hear screaming "dedication is Iyanna Mayweather).

"Please! We're telling you! It's so packed in here!!!!"

 

I don't think Floyd appreciated his name being defaced by over 9000 people.

 

Damn! I was like, "Is that Adonis? Nah..."

 

If anything it would make more people tune in to see McGregor kick his ass.

 

There are a lot of people, an incredibly large amount of people actually. Just because Mayweather can fool the casuals it doesn't legitimize the fight. This will make him 50-0 FFS. At this rate Mayweather can fight nothing but debuters to match JCC's 86-0 record.

 

It's going to plan. McGregor is witty and charismatic and Floyd can play the bad guy.

All in all...it means huge sales..

 

It means huge money for Floyd, Connor, and the networks.

The fact that people believe Connor has a good shot makes this the one if not the biggest sham in sports history.

 

Pretty cringeworthy stuff. It resembles a hybrid between standup comedy and pro wrestling promos.

This is going to do crazy PPV buys. They're doing an unbelievable job in press conferences. The question is, how much are they truly penetrating the public?
