Mayweather/McGregor Fight Discussion

The only thing that comes to mind for me is the first fight between Anthony Mundine and Garth Wood (I know they are many levels below)
Wood was just some football player with terrible boxing ability and technique but he was strong and could punch. He wrestled and fouled Mundine non stop and KO'd Mundine in a bizarre fashion. Mundine was well past his best but had the skills and boxing ability to easily beat Wood but Wood found a way to win partly due to poor officiating So McGregors only chance is to have a bad ref who lets him wrestle and foul but Mayweather is to smart for even that.

 

Horn is a boxer.

 

Because horn was allowed to get away with, if not encouraged to do, headlocking, grappling, fouling etc.
not neccesarily because horn is a boxer.

If mcgregor was allowed to use mma, then mcgregor could win. yeah

 

I think McGregor will be about as skilled as one of those boxers doing their debut that had a ton of amateur experience and a medal at the olympics.

The only problem for him is that he is in with Mayweather.

 

A 154lb non-boxwr only "needs to learn the fundamentals" to beat Floyd Mayweather Jr.?

Can someone explain why Floyd is dancing really badly? That was cringy. Rap is such ****! Someone throw a can of Pepsi at Floyd's bald head.

 

Since he's a really slick boxer, I assume all the rythm for dancing got into his boxing skills as well, leaving him with a non existent dancing talent.

 

MMA guys have great stamina and Conor has essentially fought at 170 , boxing 168 against a bigger guy and beat the bigger guy bloody in a stand up fight.
Conor is bigger and younger and Mayweather is not the same guy we saw batter Canelo around in 2013.
The crowds are totally pro McGregor and that has to be considered because Floyd's ego has never been overshadowed like this before. It will effect him mentally, believe it or not ,it already has and they still have to go to New York and London which are all pro McGregor crowds.
I'm ordering this fight no doubt and it will be entertaining.
2017 is the year of the upset. I'm putting money on this

 

I've said from the beginning that Conor should try to break Floyd's arms or dislocate his shoulders in the clinch. Conor can do it subtly without the ref deducting points. Hell, Floyd tried to rip Pac's arm from his shoulder in the clinch.
