That one I'm excited for... Look back at your picks(IDK what you've picked but I've got a feeling) and look at the ones you've projected to go the distance. Those all stink, save maybe 1 or 2.

He's a fairly narrow dog, +275 I think. Abraham against Eubank by comparison, Abraham is like +400.

I don't trust "The Pins" durability one damn bit to be honest. He's pretty fragile and you know how it is up at heavyweight.

If Kownacki has an absolute CASTE IRON Wach -esque chin and Szpilka gasses, you might have a point... But even if he has the former, unless Szpilka gasses or makes a grave error it's hard to see that slow and plodding oaf having any real success. I give Abraham a better chance at upsetting Eubank Jr. tbh.

Fight reminds me of Dominic Breazeale upsets win against Ugonoh for some reason. I see your points regardless.

In what way? If anything Szpilka should be seen as Breazeale and Kownacki as Ugonoh.

    I don't...

    Most likely dull.
    Kid Galahad vs. Jose Cayetano
Lee Selby vs. Jonathan Victor Barros
Jamal James vs. Ionut Dan Ion

    Could be exciting.
    Marcus Browne vs. Sean Monaghan
Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Arthur Abraham
    Jezreel Corrales vs. Robinson Castellanos
    Arthur Szpilka vs. Adam Kownacki

    Should be exciting.
Omar Figueroa Jr. vs. Robert Guerrero
    Miguel Berchelt vs. Takashi Miura
Sullivan Barrera vs. Joe Smith Jr.

I'm mostly thinking of these... And Szpilka/Kownacki will probably be so non-competitive that it too will suck.

Okay let me just throw up a few rambling points that many aren't considering for 2 of this weekend's fights that are viewed as uncompetitive.

While I picked Berchelt to beat Vargas without hesitation, I'm not nearly as convinced he'll walk through Miura, Miura is tough as nails, and it will take a lot of punishment to finally put him away, the one guy that stopped Berchelt in the past while huge, he's campaigning at WW now, he did it with a left hook, out of the orthodox position, Miura does nothing but throw straight lefts some of which he lands like left hooks, and Berchelt hasn't faced a hell of a lot of southpaws, so who's to say he doesn't catch Berchelt on his chin perfectly like Florez and KO him? Styles make fights, Berchelt was a bad style for Vargas, Miura is possibly a bad style for Berchelt. Miura looked poor against Roman, but Berchelt doesn't fight like Roman, and Roman is not pushover himself, I think he'd push Berchelt as well, and lose regardless. This one isn't a foregone conclusion.

Now onto the one people are really sleeping on, I was damn close to picking Castellanos over Gamboa, but because of my personal stuff that month it slipped my mind and I forget the fight was even happening. The bulk of Castellanos' losses came very early in his career, he's incredibly enigmatic, he's almost a variation on Siri, only they fight differently, he should never and I mean never be written off against pure boxers orthodox and unorthodox, his weakness is pressure fighters like Escandon and Rene Alvarado, which Corrales IS NOT, Robin Hood is a damn good counter puncher and packs a hell of a wallop, and he has great timing, add to that Corrales has been down several times in his career and fights similarly to Gamboa at times, this could be yet another shocking upset win for Robinson. This will be a very weird style clash between two very unorthodox fighters. Its not a given that Jezreel takes this.

    Caparello KO; Niyomtrong UD.

*EDIT: I completely forgot I'd already made a Caparello vs Shutkosky pick, but noticed the fight is no longer listed on Boxrec. Blake Caparello is instead scheduled to fight some guy called Jordan Tai:

    http://boxrec.com/boxer/212712

I'm switching from Caparello UD to Caparello KO, if this pick still counts.
