OK great I will get a 100 pound bag (im cheap I will let it slightly drag the floor when swinging)

Are these vinyl plather bags any good? ( they are cheaper for sure.) Or should I just strictly stick with leather?

From what i understand it is a tire shaped thing you put/tie around the punching bag. Think "rings of Saturn" :)

I'd try to avoid the dragging if possible. Plenty of great vinyl bags out there-- you can go to amazon or everlast or wherever and read through the reviews.

Never used the belly bomb but after reading the description, something about my gut instinct says to just avoid it unless you really know what your doing. Don't know enough about it or if I ever used one.

I'd go with the Thai bag if no one else has any real experience on the belly bomb cause the difference in material may make a huge difference in how you train on the bag.

finally made a decision. I went with the title gel thai heavy bag. mainly because it was on sale right now at the title website for 259 and the regular price is 400 bucks nice savings and the bag gets pretty good reviews on the internet.

I also went with the rival evolution bag gloves, the have a special wrist strap called a v-strap that is suppose to provide better wrist protection. I got 20% off the gloves for registering my email address at title.

will report back after i have used these awhile

The guy never said he was a expert. I ask a question and he gave the best advice he could based on his experience not anyone elses.
Please dont discourage contributors, I found his answer helpful.

I've owned multiple heavybags of different weights and sizes over the years, and I did a lot of research while I was purchasing them.

How do you know that your problems weren't user error?
