boxing has always been entertaiment,making money and finding out who is the toughest or most skilled.

but welcome to 2017 and this is what public wants. They want entertaiment from start till end. It's not bad thing maybe. But also then it's get harder to those,who are not comedians or great actors. WWE has made money always this way. If you are great wrestler without charisma you won't rise to top.
