You gave the first 2 rounds to Canelo LMAO. That says it all. There's a 100000000x better case of Cotto and Trout getting a draw or a fight that could go either way than Canelo/Floyd. Btw I had Canelo beating them both clear.

Agree. Floyd did just enough to win. Close fight but easy to score IMO. Floyd UD 7 - 5.

Floyd has never reacted to feints this much in a single fight. Canelo successfully feinted Floyd (making him react and flinch) more than anyone ever has by far. In the first two rounds alone Canelo already had 22 successful feints, that’s unheard of, especially vs Floyd Mayweather. Canelo was doing a lot of things right vs Floyd Mayweather, and was forcing Floyd to fight in a more uptight manner than we’ve seen Floyd fight at before. The feints, the pulling back hard, changing tactics and stances sometimes like switching between upright and shoulder roll and turning to the side. Canelo was pushing Floyd to his limits and it resulted in a lot of close rounds.

Floyd dominated the fight.. Fight was garbage.. But a boxing clinic from Floyd.. Canelo was just in there doing nothing pretty much and got winded.. .Horrible fight I was bored as hell

exactly, the guy who says canelo may have got a draw or win is the most deluded boxing fan on this forum

10-2 or 9-3 Mayweather are acceptable scores.
Hard pushed to give anything more to Canelo.
There was a lot of rounds with little happening, but Mayweather was in control the entire fight, done enough to win nearly every round comfortably.

Gotta follow up on feints, though. By and large, Canelo didn't land enough in the way of clean punches to capitalize upon them. Floyd reacted to a few (some, I think, because he wanted to see what Canelo did afterward), but also forced Canelo to reset as many times in return; and made certain to land at a higher rate as well.

A shut-out, or a near shut out can have many frames that are competitive in and of themselves...But still be lopsided in terms of scoring. This was one of those kinds of fights. At the end of the day, I don't think Canelo was effective enough to capture more than a couple of them.

I don't need too. I scored it first time around and had it 117-111 Floyd.

Ridiculous, the fight was anticlimactic because of how dominant
Floyd was, you really have to hate Floyd to try to take rounds
away from him (topic starter does so it makes sense).

I'm not sure it's a bad thing or not, but rewatching a fight, scoring with slow mo or reverse angles is just not realistic. Judges score a fight based on what's in front of them, in real time. And most who scored that fight live in real time had Floyd the clear winner.

I think I had it 11-1 with a decent case for 10-2. It was not a competitive bout in the slightest.
