Well, then in order to have that opinion be taken as fact you would need to provide evidence in support of your suspicion that their degrees are fake. Is there indeed sound indisputable evidence that they are bogus?

Can you prove that they don't? If indeed they were making false claims one would expect such a prestigious university to immediately dispute such a bogus claims in order to protect its reputation. There are people in charge of public relations in such universities who would find a doctoral graduate engaging in a brain-damaging sport as conveying a negative image of the university's ability to infuse at least common sense into its students. So the assumption that such a university would proudly support such a self-deprecating ruse is extremely far-fetched.
