It happened. Google for photo evidence and there are written accounts confirming that it was a heavy knockdown, it's also listed as a knockdown on boxrec. Carry on playing dumb though

Wlad one of the hardest punchers of any man alive today. Compare that to Wilder nearly being KO'd by the professional loser Harold "Harc Roc" Sconiers....

Joshua was also stopped in the ams but at least it wasn't to a LHW! lol!

No need for footage. It's been corroborated by multiple people and is backed up by photographic evidence, whether you want to accept this or not is up to you.

This. Comparing AJ to Price is going a bit too far. AJ is very similar to Bruno such as having a great physique and punching power, and an 82" reach, but his stamina and chin always let him down in big fights. AJ's stamina has already got him in trouble with Whyte and Wlad. Whyte and Wlad at this point aren't very active fighters that throw a lot of punches.

AJ will be in a lot of trouble if he gasses against a guy that isn't afraid to let his hands go. I see a Joshua-Wilder fight ending like the Smith-Bruno fight, but with Joshua getting stopped in the earlier rounds. This explains why Hearn is going after a Parker unification, since its a much safer route to a unification for Joshua.

The footage was on this forum back in the day before Wilder's team DCMA'd every copy out there. It wasn't official footage as the fight wasn't televised but a fan recorded video from ringside (which is why Wilder's team were so easily able to get rid of it). It showed Wilder going down hard and falling into the ropes where he was saved by the bell, he would have lost if that KD happened earlier in the round. Many people not just myself saw the video before you inevitably accuse me of lying.

Or, it could be because Parker is accepting the same offer that was first made to Wilder that Wilder turned down, i.e., fight a Brit fighter from Hearns stable to build up the fight in Britain give a big money and title fight to one of his other fighters. Seems like Hearn preferred Wilder because of the USA market angle, but team Wilder wasn't playing ball.

AJ has got a big quie of roughly equally deserving fighters lined up in front of him: Wlad Parker Wilder Fury Ortiz, heck even Povetkin and Pulev aren't too far back. He's going to fight the most lucrative ones first and hope the others become more lucrative as they linger. Definitely doesn't seem like they are afraid of anyone though, just smart and using common sense about how and when they fight.

AJ is a lot more proven than Price was so is less of a hype job BUT he was very nearly ko'd by Wlad. If he had been this would look accurate and we would be comparing him to Bruno too! I would fancy Wilder to have a good chance of ko'ing AJ

Wilder didn't turn down anything. He wanted Joshua so that he didn't have to fight his mandatory. He was willing to give up his title to win a title in a unification fight. The minute Wilder tries to fight anyone outside of Stiverne he will be stripped according to Don King himself.
