On the one hand, I am always a bit sad to see a promising novice potentially sent to the scrapheap. I dream that watching lots of terrible fights against journeymen will be repaid with the bragging value of being able to say "I saw him fight when he was 7-0, now he is P4P". But.... Gawd I love an upset..... I love to see complacancy punished.... I love to see promotional power thwarted... I love to see hard work by the unfashionable rewarded.... I love to see grit batter gaudiness .... I love to see in-house fluffers forced to praise, through gritted teeth, an away fighter with insufficient vowels in his name.

 

Yeah maybe, it looked that way, Syrowatka had a 32% KO ratio, he is hardly a puncher and just went 11 tough rounds but he took everything away from Davies with that right hand that dropped him.

I bought the fight for the under card. Eubank Sr is my all time fav boxer and Im a fan of Eubank Jr in the ring but there is 90 mins before the main event starts yet. Plenty of time for Jr to pull out or find a contract problem still.

 

I reckon it was Shane McGuigan in a Tea Bagging prank gone wrong.
